i doubt it'll be easy to distinguish from all the other sounds. i couldn't hear it even very quietly in the mix for Too Much. it simply isn't there. Great show regardless though

Such an awesome instrument, I remember when they asked for input on '08 opening acts back in 2007 I was begging people on here to vote for Greg Howard - http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/sh...d.php?t=210081

You can hear the stick really clearly on the studio Dreaming Tree and I think on the tapes of 07.25.98 and 10.31.98 DTs it's also pretty clear.

Maybe better than LT1, but still not too good. Of course this is based on one track, but my first opinion is muddy, no space between the instruments, dave's guitar sounds bad, tim's guitar sounds like it is run through a blown out car speaker, and I could go on... Ugh.

It won't cut too well through a song like Too Much (there were a few moments I heard it peak through) but even from one of the poor sounding tapes, there's plenty of songs we should hear it clearly. I can't wait to hear how Dreaming Tree came out. One of my favorite versions and I love Greg on it.

The pre-order time gives them an idea how many to mass produce. You wouldn't want to order on the first day and have them tell you you have to be put on a waiting list when the first print is sold out.

I said it about Too Much and I'll say it about the clips, this does not sound good. Echoey, too much reverb, tinny, hollow, muddy and sloppy mix. Hope really hope it's just the clips and the lack of quality they provide.

The mix could be better. Sounds a lot like what I expect a stadium show to sound like. I wish Tim and Greg were turned up more but it's a good listen.

Am I the only one slightly perplexed at how they often misspell the words in "Pantala Naga Pampa" or consistently leave out "The" at the top of song titles like "Best of What's Around" or "Song That Jane Likes" and "Dreaming Tree"? It's like that on nearly every. single. release.
