Re: I Know I Know but... Next Live Trax Please

6.24.03 is an incredible set list. May be the best I have ever seen. I can only imagine if something like that happens in 2013.

I would kill to have been at any 03 or 04 show! The sets were awesome and the band was in their prime, IMO.

I'm gonna be really disappointed if the next LT is a recent show...

C'mon management, Do the right thing! Haha

This really is a great gig,and I would love it released. The band know this to be true,as they have released 3 songs over the years from this show.Pig (Wh8 vol3),Dreaming Tree (CP compainon) and Digging A Ditch (Wh8 vol.4).

Id take any show from 2003-'04..back to back great years.

No way! I know he wore tape on his wrists in '04, but I don't think one of his hands was broken...?

Where did this idea come from? His drumming was on fire in 2004.

I don't think the next live trax will be recent.

I do think there's a strong possibility of an official release of a recent show

I'm guessing the next love trax will be 99-05. (Probably 01-03)

I wouldn't be surprised if they release a caravan show as a lt next though. Also there isn't an 05 lt yet so regardless if you want it or not that's a possibility. I say it's less likely but could happen

And the crowd. OMG the crowd. Just hearing the crowd during that shows makes it something special. When I listen to the tape I ways get goose bumps during jimi thing just from how loud the crowd is.

As much as I'll get flamed for this, I wouldn't mind a show from 2005. Yeah, it's full of Stand Up stuff (but I don't mind Stand Up, so no biggie), and I have so many versions of Ants, Rapunzel, Two Step, Nancies, etc - I wouldn't mind something to mix it up a bit in my library.

there is just no reason to justify releasing something from 2005, not even "library diversity." the SU songs absolutely sucked in 2005. some of them are good now, but they all were dreadful back then. nobody is going to listen to bad versions of bad songs just to hear something different.

and then being that it was an album tour, the only other songs besides SU songs that you'll get are ants, rapunzel, two step, nancies, etc, that you and everybody else already has a ton of.

my first concert was scranton 2005 (6.22). there was a great core of classic songs that night: OSW, DDTW, nancies crash, everyday, BOWA, warehouse, jimi, too much, and two step.

that is a solid starting point for a show. throw in songs like BEF, bartender, what you are, PFWYG, rhyme & reason, the stone, and say goodbye and you'd have a really good show worthy of release. but instead of those 7 songs, they played 7 SU songs. we don't need more releases of that starting core, and nobody wants releases of undeveloped SU songs, so there is no point of releasing that show.

Mark my words, IZOD N1 will be the next release. All the random facts about the songs on the album, going in order on the Band's Facebook page leads me to believe they'll cap it off with an announcement of a release of the show with all songs from the new album.

    So far we have:

Broken Things debuted with full band on the BAMA Works Sandy Relief Fund Benefit at the IZOD Center, New Jersey, on 30/11/2012.

Steve Lillywhite said that Belly Belly Nice, the 2nd track from Away From The World, is the happiest song Dave has ever written. Do you agree? If not, which one is?

The 3rd song from Away From The World, Mercy had 14,334 fans contributing with footage/pictures for the making of its video clip. Thank you!

Gaucho was the first track available for download from Away From The World and was already played 24 times live by the band.

Sweet debuted live in 2011 and is the first song that Dave has played publicly on a ukulele.

if they decide to somehow release this, then id actually really be excited. i loved this show, and in some ways i grew old love again for the band after walking out of this show.
