What are the "best" performances of deep cuts?

I'm talking about stuff like SUAD, Sugar Will, JTR, Break Free, etc.

I listen to the popular "Best of" compilation quite a bit, but I feel like I'm missing out on other great performances on their less mainstream greats.

Any suggestions if I wanted to put a playlist together?

I don't think there's anyone else who thinks this. I was rail, directly in front of Dave, for this show. I don't think this is the best Shotgun ever. It was a great Shotgun, but it doesn't hold a candle to 9.23.06 or 6.21.08 (which happens to be my favorite, and easily the most emotional and defined).

Chad, did you purposefully only include official releases or do you just happen to like all of those more than any taper versions from shows, etc.?

Oh not long. I made it a few weeks ago to have something different to listen to on a road trip. I just went down my iTunes list and selected versions of those songs I liked - maybe about 10 minutes to make the actual playlist

This one is my favorite too. One of the few songs that I think Tim improves.

Don't let anyone tell you Sweet Up and Down is best in 2007 or 2010. That award goes to 2000. It's still a cool tune for the sake of nostalgia, but it is nothing like it was. That song owned in 2000. 7/12/00 comes to mind as a great version as was the version on LT 16.

Last Stop - Live In Chicago and 6/20/03 are great versions.
    Spoon - LT 26
Minarets - LT 26 (really any version from 2003)
JTR - Folsom (Carter owns it)
Kit Kat Jam - most versions from 2002 are solid. A fan favorite is the 7/26/02 plastic asshole version.

Agreed on Sweet up and down. Was lucky to have caught it then.

Would love to see it but not sure how it would sound with the current line up. Oh well, I would take it anyway

12.8.98 with the Flecktones is my favorite late 90's version. Amazing solos from Bela and Jeff.
