Over the past two years I have really come full circle in my dead fandom.

I'm completely in love........ up there with my top 5 fav bands now. I can't believe I couldn't get into them earlier. Thank god I got to see furthur earlier this year!

DSO can bring a pretty legit show also. Don't know many touring Dead cover acts accept P&F, RatDog and Furthur. I love it at a festival when some form of Dead comes on. The vibe goes from whatever it was to more awesome.

DSO is absolutely ridiculous. I think that's as close as I'm going to get to seeing a GD show, even closer than Furthur.

Pretty sure they came to Minnesota and I decided not to go. The problem is, my friends don't even know who the Grateful Dead are and I really feel like Furthur would be one of those shows where it would be fun with other people. I suppose I'll ride solo next opportunity I get though.

If there was any show is go to solo, it's a Dead show

If you don't like Jack Straw, you don't like music in general.

Good lord, the Dead's music is just perfect. The way it moves and sounds is just...I can't describe it. I can't think of another band that has music that sounds anything like this.

Yeah Allman Bros. play the same type of music a little but their stuff doesn't carry the way the Dead's music does imo.
