He should be in the title picture because he's one of the biggest draws of all-time. You can say that at any point in any time. He can still put on GREAT matches, he can cut a great promo, people love and hate him, he's extremely relevant in the mainstream... it makes all sorts of sense to put him in the spotlight week in and week out.

"John Cena's Busted Nose Reaffirms he's the Best". Not a fan of that title at all. You can argue that his matches and promos and merch sales reaffirms he's the best, but an injury? Meh.

There is no reason to put him in the main event while he is in the middle of the US Title run. There was no reason to have him win the feud with Owens and keep the US title. I'm not even blaming Cena, I just think the booking is absurd when it comes to this guy. I just hope he's there to lay down clean to Rollins. Like what should have happened with KO.

Cena made a nothing title matter, solely by holding it. I had to think for a good minute before I could even remember who held the IC title. Meanwhile, Cena upgrading the low-midcard-at-best status of the US title opened up the main event scene. Seth has gotten a chance to run with the ball as opposed to a previous champion and he's doing well. The upper midcard and main event scenes are getting A LOT better. PPVs are overall better than they've been in decades.

He had all of MSG cheering "let's go Cena" without the "Cena sucks" following it. MSG... a hardcore smark crowd that should by all accounts hate someone that is being shoved down their throats.

Just please do a little research next time. Cena merch was everywhere, he was unbelievably over and did it all while fighting the damn Big Show on Smackdown.

Brock left out of nowhere, Rock had a way more successful movie career than they expected, Austin left, Goldberg flopped, Angle left in 06 I think it was, Randy was an unreliable nutcase, Eddie died, Benoit killed his family, HHH was holding down anyone and everyone, Jericho got burnt out and left.

Cena got stuck with Edge, who sucked; HBK who was old and typically only worked well with his friends at that point, HHH who was too busy being obsessed with HBK to do anything else, Orton (whom he tore the house down with), Batista (although that was a bit later after the roster started to flesh out again) and Big Show...who sucks. Obviously.

Cena had to overcome one of the worst rosters in WWE history, and he made the absolute best of it. Austin got the great priveledge of working with Undertaker, Rock, Bret, HBK, Foley, Entering-His-Prime HHH, and others. He got to work several once-in-a-generation talents. Cena got the corpse of HBK and Big Shit.

I'm not a big Cena fan, but I completely agree with this. He worked with arguably the most bland, dull roster the WWE had since the early to mid 90's and got the most out of them.
