Peter King says Joseph Randle "would not be a reach late in the first-round of your 12-team draft." And if he gets the starting job I don't think I can disagree. I got him in the 6th round of my last draft, but I imagine will will be climbing up the draft board as the season approaches.

So the top 3 overall (in any order you rank) are Charles, Peterson, and Bell right?

You guys have Le'Veon in the top 3 despite missing the first 3 games of the season?

Well assuming he is reduced to 2 or 1, I'd imagine he would go top 3.
Even at 3 games suspended (LOL), what's the farthest he falls?
    6th overall?

Yeah I'd say more in the 7-9 range for me assuming it is the full suspension.

In that scenario there's valid arguments for Charles, Peterson, Lynch, Lacy, Foster, Forte, Calvin, Brown, Dez, Rodgers, and Luck all ahead of him I think. 3 games without you're top 5 pick is a lot to swallow. Especially in a 12 team league when your next pick isn't until 19 at the earliest.

    No way touching Bell
Not a fan of Peterson either, but I could be talked into it

No chance anyone in standard 12-manager leagues takes a QB over Bell, ever.
None of those bolded names are worth it either except maybe Forte,
but I haven't read up on him at all so maybe not him either.

Think you could make an argument for Antonio Brown in top 5. I think the days of the top few picks automatically being RBs are about done

When he isn't playing the first three weeks of the season you definitely could make an argument for those 2 QBs specifically. Luck single handily won championships last year for people. I also prefer PPR to standard, which is why Brown, Dez, and Calvin I could see as well. I'm not saying all of those players would be picked ahead of him, those are just names I could understand people taking in favor of.

We can agree to disagree on the other names but I'll take full season Lacy and Forte at 5 over Bell every day of the week. Especially now that John Fox is running that offense in Chicago, forte could lead the league in rushing and it wouldn't surprise me at all.

In my experience, hitting on the first two rounds is paramount to success. I'd rather sure thing, full 16 week starters there than suspended Bell if I'm picking early in the first. Get another established back, then go top tier WR or QB if I'm not high on any backs available around 19-24. I'd rather take Andre Ellington, Lamar miller, etc later on and then have another WR be my flex. That's just how I play, there's more than one way to build a team.

I see what you're saying but you're not playing for Weeks 1-3.
You'd still have a true elite player in Bell for the stretch run + playoffs.
It's basically if you feel you can draft a team capable of going 1-1 (or 1-2 or better) without him at the start of the year.

QB is way too deep to pass on Bell + guys like Forte or Antonio Brown.

For sure that playoff stretch is what actually matters. But in my 12 man only 4 teams make the playoffs so every game is crucial. 3 divisions, wild card is next most points scored. I am typically just risk averse early on. I love Bell as a player though. He's a stud. Michigan state is my #2 team in CFB so I've been a fan of his for a while. I think Langford should be a good back in the league for the Bears once Fortes done.

Yeah it's pretty tough. The most points wild card is big. I got that last year. Playoffs 4 of the the last 5 but it's hard. It's also a keeper league which makes things super interesting. But I play in two others where we start fresh every year with 6 teams in the playoffs. But like Bell is being kept as a second rounder this year so my buddy's getting a steal.

    Some early advice needed..

    In a 10-team with:
    Non-PPR
    6pt/pass TD
    -1 for an INT
    2 WRs
    1 W/R flex
    (the rest Yahoo default)

who are your top 10 picks?

    Thanks for the help!

There's only like 25+ sites that'll give you a straight up player ranking. Google's your friend.

First draft is complete. We'll be starting another one as soon as it fills. This is draft only, so it optimizes your roster from week to week based on results. No in season transactions. I'm already in around 10 season long leagues, so these draft only leagues are perfect. More money to make, without the work. And it's better practice for drafting then the mock drafts where dipshits logout after 2-3 rounds.

    http://football20.myfantasyleague.com/2015/public#0

$10 draft only league. $100 to first place. Under "Leagues We Are Filling Now" you will see "Join a Private League you've been given a password for". Click on that and it will open a page asking for the password.

It's a lot of work. I do draftkings and fanduel too, so my nights and weekends are nuts. Sundays I'm up by 7am and work until kickoff. Because I want to focus more on daily fantasy this year I'm splitting a few of my season long league teams with my buddy. Splitting the costs and co-managing. It's tough to leave profitable leagues. This year it'll be around $1500 in league fees, so splitting a lot of that is nice too.

Since I usually get asked. Yeah, I'm married. The wife doesn't mind, she's in a few leagues too. She watches the games with me. She goes on the trips with me for out of town drafts. And we take a trip with the winnings every year. We went to Antigua in April, partially funded by fantasy football. So we all win. haha.

I actually find it to be less stressful when watching games. No matter what happens I'm usually always winning somewhere. But there is a base of guys I'll try to build my teams around, so there is a bit of player overlap from team to team.

CJ Spiller very intriguing. He might actually be used properly this year.

I hate having CJ Spiller on my team, but if he can stay healthy, he's a must have. I mean, Pierre Thomas had crazy value in PPR leagues playing that role in that offense... imagine what a healthy Spiller could do?

But then it won't be early advice that's needed about the top 10 with those custom settings I mentioned, it'll just be advice that's needed. Ahh well, you're right... it was dumb to ask that question. I'll come back in August.

    Thanks again for the reply!
I already told you your potential picks.

No, not you. The other guy before you. I appreciate your advice, thank you.

I think I hate the 6pt/TD league because it forces you to have to take a QB at the top. And... I don't know... it just doesn't feel right... but I play in a 12-team, basically default Y! league as well, so I guess the QB heavy league is a nice change of pace.
