Surprised people aren't really into this season. I'm really enjoying it. I like the storyline and how they are pushing the envelope with the graphic scenes.

I enjoyed the first two episodes. This season definitely seems to have a darker feel to it.

Really liking this season so far. I don't want to call it campy because it's not but it reminds me of an old time horror flick. I love the season 1 vibe as well where things are happening but we don't know what it all means yet.

Three episodes in, still very much a fan. Every storyline is interesting to me which hasn't happened since season 1.

Not sure how I feel about this season after the previous two episodes. Things got too complicated and somewhat foolish after the whole vampire/eternal life aspect took over the show. I personally thought the "Devil's Night" dinner scene was ridiculous.

Episodes 1 and 2 were dark, mysterious, and intriguing. Episodes 3 and 4 were silly and inauthentic. I'm also not a fan of how this show insists on creating pompous Halloween-related subplots every season.

Just my opinion.

Glad to see some of you agree that this season is just 'meh'. As mediocre as 'Freakshow' was, I'm still feeling that more than 'Hotel'.

Big big fan of this season....its right back where it should have been after season 2 imo where they also pushed some boundaries

I'm still digging this season. It's lost steam, but at this point I'd rank it as my 2nd or 3rd favorite. Really just depends on how it ends.

The biggest issue I have with the show in general is that the seasons are just too damn long. Part of the problem are the holiday breaks. Since they don't air an episode the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, it gets dragged out until two weeks into January.

The show could really benefit from being cut to 8 or so episodes. That way you can finish around Thanksgiving and cut out the fat.

I think 10 would be ideal. I agree with everything you said there clay!

I saw this to but someone pointed out some of the other teasers looked too modern to be set in the 1600s

I was saying yesterday that AHS goes on too long and I lose interest after Halloween, glad they changed it to a shorter season
