I looked. Everything says TBA. They are really tight lipped this season. Sounds like it ends before thanksgiving

The biggest issue I have with the show in general is that the seasons are just too damn long. Part of the problem are the holiday breaks. Since they don't air an episode the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, it gets dragged out until two weeks into January.

The show could really benefit from being cut to 8 or so episodes. That way you can finish around Thanksgiving and cut out the fat.
    Glad they listened to me.

Didn't see Gaga's name in the credits - is she not a part of this season?

I hope there will be opening credits and eerie music like in seasons past. Not too fond of the reenactment/interviews. It was the first episode so I'm sure things will grow on me eventually.

Agreed - I don't like the interview format at all. But we'll see where it goes.

    Re: American Horror Story: Hotel

Very good episode. Very intrigued. I'm not a fan of the interview/documentary thing either because I think it limits what the suspense (knowing they are alive to tell their story) but I've already seen some cool theories on what it could all mean.

Someone pointed out that at the top of the show there was a screen that said "this is based on real events" which means the documentary we are watching isn't the actual people involved, it's actors portraying the people involved... which means a ton of shit can happen to the people involved including getting killed. (I didn't think I needed to spoiler this, sorry if I did)

I'm glad someone else caught Cuba watching the OJ chase, fun little nugget. I think Gaga was already reported to be in the season, as was Finn Wittrock I believe. Lily Rabe wasn't reported to be in it at all and the whole show opened with her, so who knows.

I'm intriged. Thumbs up for the first episode.

The outline seems to remind me a lot of shows like My Haunted House. They have interviews with people about what happened and dramatize it with background stuff as well. I've never watched this show but will now

I agree with TomHonks. The fact they changed it up with this show within a show format, and being a shorter season has pulled me back in. I've watched all seasons but didn't make it through last year

shorter season makes me interested to watch last night's

I thought that was Cuba watching the OJ chase in the hotel! I did see last night that Gaga and most of the regulars are scheduled to appear (Kathy Bates was the woman that Shelby hit with her car btw).

Edit: how has Cuba's character not heard those demonic pig noises outside their window while they're sleeping? He also neglects those little string witches that are tied throughout the stairwell.

I don't like that Paulson and Gooding are actors within the TV show itself - it makes the scenes with them (90% of the show) seem inauthentic.

I thought the premiere dragged and was really boring for the most part. I hope this picks up, but for now I'm not into this one at all. Hotel was much better, IMO.

    As for Gaga...

Ha! "How did they get these up so fast?" . Least of my worries at that point. Also reminded me of the Blair Witch Project.

I may check this one out. It sounds pretty interesting. They lost me after Season 3. Season 1 was absolutely fantastic, and Season 2 could have been great but they went way over the top and it got far too weird for me. I really liked Season 3 a lot. That season felt more like the same vibe as Season 1. Then there came Freak Show...let's just say I don't do well with clowns or the circus. Watched the first episode and bailed. I'm just not a fan of shows or movies being so over the top just for shock value, and it felt like that's where they were headed with Freak Show. I didn't even bother with Hotel. How was that season?

I used to LOVE watching A Haunting, so this season may be more up my alley.

Ep. 2 covered a bit more ground but we still haven't progressed much. Yes, they invested their life savings on a 100+ year old house but if they stay much longer, people are going to start to die. Doesn't seem like a difficult decision to make.

Im the same way. I tried watching every AHS after season 1, and I thought each season was stupid. would only make it 3 episodes in and stop watching. The first season was fantastic.

This is a lot more like the 1st season after the first 2 episodes, im enjoying it so far.

I dug The second episode but I wish we could move a little quicker if they're only going to be eight or 10 episodes. I feel like we've just hit the tip of the iceberg and knowing the story of what actually happened in Roanoke, we have a ways to go.
