The use of music had me rolling in this episode. The montage of Gerald trolling to Boston and then typing like he was playing the keys parts was incredible.

Then when he left the house and "Steal My Sunshine" played I actually was crying

I thought that was all perfectly done. I loved his little smirks throughout the episode. All the stuff with Cartman was absolutely fantastic too.

This episode, among many others, but this one encapsulates perfectly why SP is so brilliant. Pretty much all those jokes could be done in such a stupider way, but they nail the satire on the fucking head.

I am a little unsure about the season long plot, I kinda liked the individual episodes better.

This season has been good, just think it could be better with a closing on each episode.

Anyone else feel this way?

Season long plot gave completely new life to the show. While this season isn't as good as last season (the best season ever), this format has extended the show'a shelf life at least another 5 years.

I like this season much more than last so far. Nether are even in the top 5 seasons ever.

The season long arcs are refreshing to me, although I do find myself missing the more self contained episodes sometimes. But we had 17-18 seasons of that, so these last two have kind of reinvigorated things so I enjoy it.

Im in the same boat. SP is a top 3 favorite show ever for me.

Last season almost completely lost my interest, im sure the season long arc had something to do with it though and not being used to that. PC principal is/was not very funny to me after the first episode or two with him.

I will say last season's finale was great.
