Residency at MSG is good by me. The Dead have done it. ABB did it for 20 years at the Beacon. I think it pushes Band into bigger improv cause they will repeat but make it worth it if you hear song twice.

Yeah I believe so. Maybe they'll do a Fall tour. Can't see them not touring at all next year. Really, really want another festival.

i never assume a fall tour is happening. with phish, i figure there are 2 guarantees - summer tour dates and the NYE run. so when they do announce a fall tour, even if i cant go, i look at it as icing on the cake

sucks that tix go on sale on a friday. always prefer being home for public onsales

wife and i had a baby girl a few months ago. recently i asked her if she was interested in the rumored phish NYE show and she just wants to stay at home. i told her i have zero interest in that and want to go to NYE. she wasnt psyched, but she told me later she's toying with the idea of us not spending that holiday together...

NYE is usually hard for me to swing. When Phish played down here a few years ago, that was the only show I didn't go to. Spent NYE with the wife. Would of been sweet to catch that 2nd set, but wife>Phish.

Dragging her up to Jax with me though. Getting closer!!

its certainly not a given that i'll be attending NYE but the wheels are in motion. phish NYE tends to be a family affair for me given my 2 sisters and bro-in-law are also rabid fans and always attend. wouldnt be surprised if wifey ends up wanting to go, she's not a crazy fan like we are but she and my sisters get along great and have a blast

At least you're getting her to go with you, mine is 100% out. It's fine though, my best friend from back home is coming with me and honestly I'd rather see Phish with him because I know it'll be a great time.
