We planned on our next family trip to WDW to be next year but now with the expansion news, we are wondering about holding off til Star Wars and even that Toy Story expansion is ready. We need to be there soon after it's ready.

The problem now is that the kids are aging and we can't really take them out of school and let them miss a few days like have in prior trips. That means going likely during busier times.

Decisions will need to be made.

Good luck on BOG. Trying very often to see if anything opens up and nothing. I know it's cause people horde multiple reservations for the same day and then drop them later.

    3 great choices.

for me & my family a dining plan isn't worth it. A dinner... yea, I could handle that, but we'd rather eat small snacks during the day at parks. Here's an example we once did.

EPCOT - split a pretzel bread sandwich at Germany. pecans at America, cheese plate at France, dinner at Japan.

we felt like we maximized our time (and money) doing it that way - got to see as much of the park we wanted and still sat down for a relaxing dinner.

daytime snacking meals is always an option.

this, of course, makes sense. my family just ranges all over the place. my sister has 2 young kiddos (5 and 2) and a new-born, whereas my wife and i would like to putz around the parks. my other sister kind of jumps between both the kiddos and putzing the parks.

we've been too many times and have never done the meal plan. it seems to make sense at this moment in time so we can sort of all gather together for a meal a day, and then we can go about the parks as we so choose.

I think that makes more sense especially with little ones - who may need to nap and walk about to calm them down

Thinking about a long weekend to Disney first weekend in February, maybe the 4th-8th. It shouldn't be too busy then, right? That is before February school vacation week at least here in Mass.

Looking to probably do epcot one day and drink around the world.

I definitely want to check out The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Are Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley fairly similar so doing just 1 is enough or should you make time to go to both? If just one does anyone have a preference between the two?

It would be myself and a friend, no kids with us if that helps.

Any particular spot to watch the Superbowl? If we go that weekend we would be there then and will definitely want to watch the game.

    Pretty pumped, I haven't been since I was 5!

WDW got wise; there's cheerleading tourney's and soccer tourneys from Jan to May now. We went to Epcot in March and it was packed. You have to hit it during a weekday for it to be utterly empty

We're getting there the day after you leave. We were at Coronado the last time we were there. I like it a lot. It can be a bit of a hike to the main building for food depending on where your room is but nothing terrible. The themed pool is amazing. Disney knows how to do it.

Damnit. If it weren't for school, I'd probably be going in a few weeks. I'd love to be there around my favorite holiday (Halloween)

I spent the entire week before Halloween down there last year, and I'm doing the same this year. It's my favorite time of year too, and Disney celebrates it perfectly. I plan on making it a yearly tradition.
