Office Annoyances

When you work in a room full of cubicles it should be common sense to not have the ringer on your phone (not your cell) at the highest level. There’s someone gone from a desk near me and their phone has been ringing non-stop, so loud I have to look at my phone and make sure it’s not mine. Anyone else have stupid shit at their office that could be avoided if it wasn’t for people’s lack of common sense?

Others:
- Standing right outside my desk space yapping to someone about stupid shit when your desk is on the other side of the building. I don’t care about your yeast infection, take it elsewhere.
- Standing and talking right in front of the entrance to the bathroom. Move the fuck on, I have to shit!
- Someone near you on speaker phone for a conference call when someone else near that person is on the same call and you can hear them talking from their desk and through the phone that’s on speaker.

It's probably the only constant complain that I have. It is SO HARD to sit down and do stuff when you're out in the open. I have a HUGE grant due for the department in one month.......and I have my boss telling me that I have to do only that, and 18 PhDs/MDs coming to me to help with every single little stupid problem that they have.

Not office, but in my dorm room, my roommates usually leave their annoying music on when they go into the other room to watch TV or even LEAVE the dorm for class. Seriously?? Thats so annoying.

I hate stupid people that think their computer probelm is the end of the world when its not. You make me walk across the entire campus to fix the sound on your speakers when I have backups, and servers to maintain.

My back faces a main “hallway” that leads to the exit so I have no privacy at all, I’d give anything to have more than 2 walls protecting me.
