Hey guys,

Long time DMB fan... 40+ shows and counting!

I'm putting together the 3rd Annual DMB Party Bus! We did this the past two years and it was a total blast

Join us for a fun filled ride full of partying for a round trip down to Irvine for the DMB show on Saturday, September 6 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Drinking is allowed on the bus and so are coolers and it was a blast last year so make sure to reserve your seat before we sell out!

Pick up will be determined as we get closer to the concert but last year the bus picked up and dropped off at Aviation and Manhattan Beach Blvd in Manhattan Beach/Redondo Beach. Pick up time will be around 4p and will be dropped off after the show

Price: $35-$40 round trip per person
- Obviously does not include a ticket to the show

There is a tailgate but the cops can be pretty tough. Just keep it in plastic cups and if you're smoking, keep it on the d/l. The last couple of years have been pretty good shows. Enjoy yourselves!

Depends what time you get there. If you get there early, you can pick your parking spot. Late and you're fucked.

We'll just scooped up a single from stubbuhb. same price as my section 8 ticket but in 12 so I'm closer to the center. Still pissed at the seller from here who backed out after I sent home money.

Hey guys,

Let me know if anyone is interested in a Party Bus I'm putting together. We're leaving from the South Bay and heading down to the show. Beats the hell out of driving and parking not to mention we can eat, drink and be merry and tailgate before/after!

Here are the details:

• Price is $40 per person, round trip and includes tip for the driver and bus parking already
• To reserve your spot (space is limited), send the money via PayPal or Chase Quickpay to ledebuhr@gmail.com. Let me know if this is a problem for you and we can work something else out
• Bus will leave at 4p on Saturday, Sep 6 from the Northrup Grumman parking lot on Rindge and Manhattan Beach Blvd in Redondo Beach, 90278
• Bus will park at the show in Irvine and remain in the parking lot for the remainder of the show so OK to leave stuff on the bus
• Feel free to bring food and drinks but we need to make sure the bus is in very clean condition when we’re done or else we’ll get charged
• Bus will leave after the show and return to the same location

Shoot me your cell phone #s so I can send out a text or call with last minute changes.

A lot of us tailgate in the main lot. I just cruise around until I find someone I know. You never know where you will be because you can't get into the lots real early like you can at Chula.

Someone asked about parking....if I remember right, they no longer charge for parking there (at least last time I was there they did not). I have not been back to Irvine though since they demolished the water park next door.

I believe regular parking is free, but there's an option for VIP parking...never have done that but may consider it this year depending on what time we get there..getting out of there is a nightmare..or at least has been the last few years....

As a frequent goer of Irvine until I moved to the east coast, I echo Stephanie's statement about getting out of the lot if you park in the general area. One year it took over 90 minutes to final get on to Irvine Center Drive, then on to the freeway. I would always plan to post-tailgate for about an hour to let the initial load die down, but then it can still take a little while to get out. VIP parking will get you out of there in 10 min after you get to your car, so it is worth the price if you want a quick exit.
