real talk-
alli is spot on. i had a lot friends doing pre-med undergrad that ended up switching out before they graduated. most people do. if this is what you really want, then you can do it... the good things in life will never be easy. BUT if you don't see yourself happy doing this when it's all said and done, definitely weigh your other options. there are always other options. no use in wasting time and money slaving away for something that isn't what you want.
it sounds like you really like the health science field (hell yeah!). there are tons of other paths you can go. a lot if former pre-med kids i know decided to go into PA (like alli said) or PT. these careers also require less school than med school. the good news is that the pre-med requirements (bio, chem, etc) are usually requirements or pre-reqs for other health science programs. over break i would recommend doing a little research on other options and even shadowing someone with that profession
it took me a while to really know what path i wanted to do. it's a frustrating time but you'll figure it out
