when was "last time"? for dmb? or another artist?

i talked to them earlier this week and they said they've got a pretty good system in place now. obviously we'll be the judges of that. regardless i'm wanting to get at those windows the second they open at 5.

Last time was the last DMB show. Parking lot opened at 5pm. People starting getting there about 6. And it was a cluster fuck at the will call line from 6-830

Tonight's set list was meh at best. I saw lovely ladies twice at SPAC so there is only so many songs they will sing so I hope not too. I think they are great singers it just limits the set list. The last 4 of the acoustic set was such a nice run I thought they were in for a great electric set.

Just noticed Jimi was crossed off the setlist at last night's show. I had a feeling it'd be played here, now I'm sure of it. Interesting that the opinion here seems to be no Ladies though, honestly they don't bother me too much one way or the other. Biggest issue I have is that it seems to dictate which songs get played for them to "feature" on.

Just pulled up the DMBAlmanac page for 2007 Cricket show. This was the Road Page Notes, seems like they might be able to just c/p most of this for tomorrow's show.

We've written about the weather before, but daaaaaaamn it was hot today. At one point we clocked the temperature on stage at 114 degrees. Definitely too hot to unload all the sensitive instruments, definitely too hot to linger around our workstations. The scorching afternoon turned into a beautifully cool evening though, and together band and audience jammed out as the full moon crossed the sky. Tonight was the first time we can remember having a question mark printed on the set list. Dave filled that spot with an impromptu, intimate rendition of Butterfly. Can't wait for our weekend at The Gorge. See you there on Friday.

yesterday at the royals game i drank a 24 oz water on the way to the stadium, had two very slow pale ales in the parking lot, followed by a 20 oz of water in the stadium. then one wheat and another water, then a small wheat and ANOTHER water. if tuesday's like yesterday it's just too dad gum hot to drink more 3 or 4 of anything.
