Love the Riverbend date. Wasn't planning on making the drive this year but hard to pass up a Friday night show.

Agreed, Riverbend on week nights is just not that strong. Friday night, sign me up!! We had quite the crowd last year at the casino bar next to Riverbend, cheap cheap beer.

Yeah we went to the casino I think it was 2 years ago before the concert and they had like $1 beers.

Just moved to Cleveland so this will be my first year at Blossom. I went to Riverbend in 2003 and loved it, so now that I'm back in Ohio I may make the trip. We'll see though. Depends on work. I'm in the process of possibly getting hired with a new company so if I can take the afternoon off and drive down I would love to. But Blossom is a definite and I'm really looking forward to it!

DO NOT sit in the lawn. One of the worst lawn views I've ever seen.

Yeah I agree, I wouldn't do lawn. It's a nightmare. Especially on a Friday show, it will be jammed.

Will be at Riverbend! First time since 6/24/03! That was such a great time and a great show, I've been dying to go back ever since, but for some reason Riverbend just never worked out.

I will be doing lawn, just because I will be going with the same group of guys I went with in 2003, and I don't feel like putting a bunch of tickets on my credit card, and then tracking down everyone to pay me back. It's a pain in the ass.

Same situation I am in, closes venue to where I live. Which means more friends tag along, and we don't want to split up. Just have to tough out the lawn and make the best of it.

Has anyone else checked out the prices and been kind of appalled? $102 for the expensive seats? I wish they would maybe consider lowering the prices, after all these years? I know it's unlikely but $100+ for a ticket is insane IMO.

Warehouse ticketing info...

Pit and reserved seats are $85 with a 2 ticket limit.
Reserved seats are $75 with a 4 ticket limit.

My guess is Pit, 12, 13, 14 are $85 with maybe the 20's being $85 as well.

30's and 40's are $75.

2 tix through Warehouse ($85 level) with fees comes to $183 prior to shipping.

Hey everyone. This is a new one for us this year (expanding our range east...Riverbend then Star Lake).
How's the pit? Worth trying for or should we just go with the $85 reserved? We're normally lawn lizards but would rather not deal with that at this venue.

Pit was oversold last year, but it's a small pit. The sound is fantastic in the pavilion, and if you can get the $85 seats, then that is the way to go (assuming the $85 seats are in 12/13/14 maybe 23/24/25).

I say go for pit.

Put in my annual request for Blossom. Tix are expensive this year! My honest guess is that all 10's, 20's, & front half of 30's will be $85, with the last few rows and bench seated 40's section will be the $75 seats. I can't confirm that, but that was how most shows worked last year. Can't do Starlake this year b/c of a friend's wedding, so will be hitting up Bristow, Hope it's worth the trip!

I know this is way early, but I can't help my enthusiasm for this summer. Since Blossom is on a weeknight, anyone have interest in getting a party bus from Columbus? Mid day depart, party/tailgate, concert, and return?

Where are people tailgating at for Riverbend? Last year we were parked in Coney Island, and those rent-a-cop security guards told me, "you have 30 seconds to drink your beer then you have to throw it away". Im not trying to deal with that shit again. Like even you aren't bothering anyone or being loud, they will tell you no drinking. I just want a place to hang out, relax, and drink a few beers.

I will go "tailgate" in the casino bar again...plenty of DMB fans, air conditioning, and like $14.00 buckets!! I know wimpy, but it's hassle free and cheap.

Are you able to park at the casino? My last time at Riverbend was in 2013 and the Riverdowns lot was under construction...which now is a casino and right?

Blossom since 03 and a couple in between!
