Anyone know how big the pit is? does it get vrery crowded and cramped? i'm use to the camden pit, which is a nightmare.

its nowhere near as bad as camden. its rather large, and they don't oversell it. as long as you hang towards the back people are very chill

Always dreamed of getting a drumstick but I was at the Burgettstown concert and Carter only threw 1 set out. He usually throws lots out after the show but this is the 1st time in recent memory he didn't throw out any except the one set.

i've been to almost 100 shows now, and have been within stick range for the majority of them. just not worth fighting all the LoVE whores and douchebags to get one.

Take a kid w/ you. Had my 12 year old daughter at the show in Baltimore December 2013 and we were 2 people off the rail in the pit. I held her up after the main set and he handed a pair directly to her.

Whats the best hotel for the money at Va beach? Easily accessible to the venue and the beach? Also, is there shuttles from the beach area to the venue and back?

I just want to know the secret if getting decent seats. I've tried and tried and never seem to be able to get anything in the lower section without paying out hundreds of dollars.

i usually do the red roof by the airport. decent hotel, affordable. you're not going to stay on the beach unless you pay out the ass, and there are not really hotels with any type of shuttle, at least not that i've heard of.

there is no secret. do not pay over face, patience will always pay off.

This will be mine and my girlfriends first VA show and we're both super excited! Partially because I've never seen Dave here and also because I'm bringing her to her first Dave show!

So, is it safe to say that tailgating isn't allowed but if it's just a couple people and you're adult about it, you're good to go?
If it's frowned upon, we could always hit up some local places that have been suggested in here

it really just depends. so hit or miss. one thing you can do is hang out with the people in the pit line...even if you aren't going in when gates open. they're pretty lenient about people chilling there.

as far as hanging in the lots, you may or may not have any problems. the issue is that hardly anyone does it, so if there's a handful of you chilling by your car, you stick out like a sore thumb.

best bet is to go to a local bar, or hang on the beach until showtime.

Rather play it safe and hit up a local bar. What time do the gates open? Figure we could come a little bit ahead of time, but didn't want to wait in the lots for too long.

How is the parking situation for the beach? Are there municipal or paid lots? Any recommendations on the best parts of the beach to go to? Thanks.

I have four very nice reserves I'm looking to trade for a pair of pits. I have section 103 row d and 102 row r. You can have all four or just the pair... Let me know!

Still looking for tickets if anyone has extras. Would prefer section 100 or closer. If anyone gets a set of pits or 100s from a drop I will pay you extra for them. My wife and I haven't gotten our tickets yet. I've been trying with no luck on the Live Nation app.

Thinking about road tripping down from NYC area with a buddy or two... First time in VA Beach

Can someone give me a few pointers or suggestions on where to stay? lot situation, how strict they are, ticket drops day of the show.. etc?

70-something show for me so just looking for a brief rundown of what to expect.. very much appreciated.
