My wife and I made a last minute trip to Burgettstown to see their show this past Friday. They're such a fun band to see live. The show had a good mix of their 3 albums, a new song from the album they're working on, and covers. I love the range of songs they'll cover. We were treated to "Seven Bridges Road", "Sweet Emotion", and "Enter Sandman". Such a great time!

    Saw them at the Georgia Dome this past weekend. They were "opening" for Kenny Chesney. Based on the crowd and the energy, the more operative phrase would be that Kenny Chesney closed for Zac Brown Band.

    Covers included "a song by one of (his) heroes" Ants Marching, Enter Sandman, Kashmir -> Devil Went Down to Georgia. Also guested with Chesney on The Joker and Dixieland Delight.

    New EP exclusively on Itunes, produced by Dave Grohl, called the Grohl Sessions, is out today. It sounds pretty fantastic. Among my favorite work of theirs yet, I feel it doesn't tread on the same stuff they've done like their last album did.

    Yeah it was just announced last week, pretty quick release. I would say that it sounds a bit edgier (a bit heavier guitars, etc.) but still very much has a Zac Brown Band feel. The harmonies, prominent violin, and other things you have come to expect from ZBB are all there, but there are definitely a few wrinkles of a different sound.

    Gonna have to check that out...... I can't wait to see these guys live again. Went to see them at Bethel this summer and it was a great show. If anybody hasnt seen them I would highly recommend giving them a shot.

    Wish i could see them live again. Was supposed to go to the Dayton show but plans fell through. One of the best live shows i have ever seen.

    They did eight songs electric threw some tee shirts out while the crew set up the mics. Then they played four acoustic songs and took a ten minute break. Played another twelve songs.

    Like you said smack damn in the set

    What a show last night! Had an awesome time. Setlist was great and they had some absolutely fantastic covers (Comfortably Numb, Sweet Emotion, Piano Man, and Enter Sandman). Crowd was so into it all night, they brought a ton of energy on stage. Would definitely see them again, and will probably see them next summer in lieu of a third or fourth DMB show.

    Did you see any tapers? They started allowing taping this tour.

    I was looking but couldn't see any from my seats (section E field level, row 30). But that doesn't mean they weren't there. Do they have a site akin to dreamingtree.org where tapers post their stuff?
