It's due for delivery on 9/3.

A also cheated a little with the 'all cans' requirement. One of my favorite breweries in NH just started bottling in the last few weeks... I may have slipped one in there.

Really can't apologize enough for my delay. I feel like an ass. I won't be doing another MBB if it could possibly reach into the summer. Way too busy.

Time for me to make my annual post on pumpkin beers, haha.

Pumpkin beers are so overrated and the flavor of the pumpkin itself doesn't make it thru to the beer at all. All you're tasting is usually an amber ale (or maybe a porter) with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves added. No thanks.

I'd much rather have a world class porter alongside a slice of homemade pumpkin pie.

My wife asked me to go buy more she enjoyed it so much. I explained that we got a limited allocation as we don't normally have Southern Tier distributed here. She told me I should have bought more. It was glorious. She has never told me to buy more beer. Feel like I have a golden ticket in my hand or something

I know, I know, it's personal preference. Either last year or the year before I bought up like 8 of the more common pumpkin offerings (Pumking, DFH, Shipyard, several other that I can't remember) and we did a pumpkin beer shootout.

I came to realize I'd rather just not drink any of them. More for you guys though!

Now Oktoberfests/Marzens... THOSE are some autumn seasonals that I can get in to!

Was happy to facilitate this round of the MBB, looking forward to seeing what the final shipment has in store.

I know it's not much of a secret where the MBB is headed, but hints are fun anyway aren't they?

It is currently at a fedex office in a city with the same name as where my work is located. I was hoping they would take it out for delivery today, but I guess they want to sit on it for another day.

Yes sir! Really impressed with Modern Times - a real up and comer that we'll hear a lot more from I'm sure. I love how they print all of the details including ABV, SRM, SG, and IBUs right on the can along with posting homebrew recipes for all of their beers on their website.

If you have a chance to get Grapefruit Sculpin I highly recommend picking it up. Sculpin is great to begin with and this just takes it up another notch - the best grapefruit IPA I've had so far.
