And as an update... BW is good. Away from the World is better with Snow Outside being one of the best love songs Dave has written

I'm a huge fan, but I guess in regards to the poll options I'm also more "Independent".
The Big 3 are the greatest albums the band has produced. As a massive DMB fan that is just undeniable. I like really Everyday and I enjoy Stand Up for what it is. On top of that, the Stand Up songs transferred to the live setting very well, as did Everyday. I'm a big fan of Big Whiskey as an album, but I think some of the songs fall flat in the live setting. That was a great album that seemed to re-energize the band and seemingly pull them out of a creative funk. However, it was also the kick-start to a more aggressive rock band sound that I'm not as much a fan of. I love Away From the World. I think it's a great album that brought the band back closer to their older sound while mixing in little elements of the band's sound through the course of their career. It's also a great piece of work from an older, more mature band.
As for The Lillywhite Sessions vs. Busted Stuff. This has always been tough for me. If you take The Lillywhite Sessions completely out of the picture then Busted Stuff is an absolutely fantastic album. I think had LWS never leaked that Busted Stuff may have become a Big 4 album. Great songs with very solid recordings. But because I've heard The Lillywhite Sessions there are just some songs that had undeniably better adaptations. I think I give the edge to Busted Stuff only because it was a more complete, and official, album. Busted Stuff has better recordings of "Busted Stuff", "Grey Street", "Raven" and "Kit Kat Jam". It also has "You Never Know", which I believe to be one of the greatest songs of all time, and I have always liked "Where Are You Going?". I'm indifferent on "Digging a Ditch". I love the little sax and record player sound at the end of the Lillywhite version, but the song as a better sound on Busted Stuff, so I guess BS wins that one too. On the flip side, LWS has some of the most beautiful studio work the band has produced in "Grace is Gone", "Captain", "Big Eyed Fish". "Monkey Man" Is really great as well. With that said, I still really enjoy the Busted Stuff version of "Grace is Gone", but "Captain" doesn't do much for me. The LIVE version of the BS "Captain" is fantastic though. As for Bartender...I think I may be that rare person that prefers the BS version. Roi's work at the end of the LWS is phenomenal, but as a completed song/recording I give the edge to Busted Stuff. Up until Roi's sax solos at the end of the LWS version the band just sounds bored, mainly Dave.
...totally forgot about "Sweet Up and Down" and "JTR"...hmmm..."JTR" sounds great on LWS, but "Sweet Up and Down", while a great song, it definitely sounds a little flat. The ending is great, but yet again, the band sounds bored and Dave sounds like he'd rather be anywhere else than a recording booth. Even Carter sounds like he'd rather be doing something else. He sounds bored or annoyed when he counts the song off in the beginning.
