muse is great! i've worn the shit out of Black Holes & Revelations and Absolution, and i still haven't picked up the others yet, but am looking forward to it.

as far as coldplay, i just thought of Trouble--one of my favorite bass lines. there's no denying that the piano part and bass part were composed in a creative and ear-pleasing way. and johnny's guitars on that one could lull me to sleep...and i mean that in the good way.

if a had to rank the three off of the cuff, it'd look something like:

1. Radiohead

Alligator should be at about 7.75, Kid A should be at 9. I agree with Grand National too, good album first of the way through, but after a couple of listens, meh. I don't listen to enough of Kings of Leon to give that a fair rating, but it sounds like a fair rating.

I didn't quote anyone, I was using the universal "you", so I wasn't really looking for a response. Yes, Coldplay's albums are collections of songs as opposed to albums, but in no way does that water down the fact that they make fantastic songs.
