I had heard it was gonna be a good one so made sure I watched it live last night. Well waited 15 minutes so I could skip all the commercials, but that's only logical. Amazing episode last night. My worries about the show, is that they will be revealing too much too early. Are they going to be able to keep it going for years? I should have seen the ending coming but didn't. Fantastic episode.

Yeah, I have that concern too. But now that time travel is in play, I'm guessing that a lot of what we saw last night (we know the big moments) will be undone due to the ending.

That's true. I'm glad some things can be undone, as I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

They can keep it up for years. There is a LOT of great material to pull from. They've maybe dusted off 2-3% of what they could use.

Oh I'm sure there is a lot to pull from I just mean from this story line. Seemed like it would be something that would build over time but they seem to be revealing a lot of their cards with this one.

Holy smokes! Wow what an episode. That almost felt like a season finale. The only gripe i have is the cheesy love triangle storyline. That's starting to get really annoying and is just poorly written. If they could get rid of the fluff and focus on the darker elements of the show this could really go places. Once the cheesy stuff was over though, man did they go for it. What happened at the end was one of my theories all along, but they misdirected me a few episodes so it still remained a surprise. My jaw was on the floor. I didn't think of a certain thing being able to be undone though. Good call on that. Can't wait for the rest of this season!

Real good episode tonight. Mark Hammill as the Trickster was awesome, with one really funny Star Wars reference. He would actually make a really good Joker with the way he characterized the Trickster.

Lots of interesting developments tonight. Really looking forward to the stuff they previewed at the end of the episode. Looks like the end of the Flash/Arrow seasons may have a crossover element to them and could be pretty good stuff.

But he DID make a good joker in Batman: The Animated Series :-)

Haven't seen last night's yet, but I meant to say I didn't think last week was as bad as some said. I had a buddy tell me it was terrible. I thought it was pretty entertaining actually. Still not sold on Heatwave and Captain Cold, but it was pretty decent. Heatwave is way worse than Cold as an actor and he didn't have much dialogue, so that helped.

There was some info dropped last week that confirmed a crossover. Definitely looking forward to this week's episode. I've been watching everything after Wednesday on Hulu. Then I can watch all at once.

Great episode. Timeline stuff still needs to be explained a little but a pretty big reveal last night that explains some. Gotta wait 2 weeks for the next episode though.

Holy shit do I feel dumb. I absolutely already knew a person named Mark Hammill was the voice of the Joker in BTAS and the Arkham games but I couldn't make the connection that it was THE Mark Hammill. God damn do I feel like an idiot now

You now know Luke Skywalker is The Joker. He's been doing voice acting for many years now. Did you know he played the original Trickster in the original Flash series from 1990?

Just caught up. I thought I was 3 behind, but I guess only 2? Was the ATOM episode last night, or is Hulu behind? I thought ATOM was last week.

I really loved the team up and happy to hear them mention the shrinking aspect of the suit. Makes me really like what they've done with him so far more. I like the idea that it takes him time and tinkering to really develop the suit. You figure he'll be around for awhile now that he will be on the other show. I suppose we don't have to see him become small right away. Builds it up for when it actually does happen.

The bee girl was stupid. Not a fan of that part of the story. Otherwise the last two episodes were really good. The show is headed in the right direction. Now that Eddie and Iris could split maybe the show can leave the cheesiness to a minimum and focus on the more interesting and darker elements of the show. Anything involving the Reverse Flash is awesome.

I also liked the Trickster episode before the ATOM. Not a huge fan of that character either hahaha. I like Mark Hamill, but I just felt he overdid that character (same as in the original) and so did the kid. I have to look past the fact that he's Luke Skywalker and allow myself to realize that role is wicked cheesy. I liked it when he was in the jail actually. He was a little more subdued and he DID play that part very well. Again, the Wells plot is ramping up so that's awesome.

All in all I really am liking this show. It's definitely getting better.

Kev, you're 100% right about the Reverse Flash stuff. Definitely the most interesting thing they've got going. I really hope the slow burn will pay off by the end of the season, but with 5 episodes left I feel they may cliffhanger us for next season, which I actually wouldn't mind as it would build some anticipation for Season 2.

Right now this show is much better than Arrow.

Yeah, Arrow has been on a slow decline in my eyes. Home sick today, so I'll get caught up on that as well. Hoping it gets better as the season finale draws near.

It looks good next week although after this week seems like it'll go down a little. I think we've got 3 or 4 left, so my guess it goes down and then the finale will be huge.

    Re: The Flash (CW Show)

Finally caught up on the Flash. Thoughts on the episodes I watched:

    "Tricksters"

Mark Hamill's "I am your father" line was fantastic, I don't care what the haters say.

The device Eobard used to become Wells reminded me a lot of the shapeshifter device from Fringe.

    "All Star Team Up"

I loved Ray Palmer's "we have the technology" line that gave a nod to the Six Million Dollar Man.

And the "Bees, why did it have to be bees?" nod to Indiana Jones' snakes.

And then the "It's a bird, it's a plane" line as Atom landed, that was a nice nod to him playing Superman.

    "Who Is Harrison Wells"

Love seeing the Farris Air sign and the trip to Coast City in the beginning. Please, bring us Green Lantern.

Cool to see Everyman, he was in the new 52 and worked with Lex Luthor.

    "The Trap"

It was cool to hear Gideon tell Barry he was "founding member of..." before being cut off. Wish they would have let it finish and say "...The Justice League."

    Another Indiana Jones reference "Cali-Ma!"

Interesting how Iris finally found Barry out. Not how I saw it happening at all.

Thought it was a really solid episode. A quick question for everyone who's watching Arrow as well, though:

Not sure about the continuity, if it's side by side or not, but I know Oliver has been to Starling while with the League so it's entirely possible.

Yeah, but that was to sort of further the League's objectives in his role as Heir to the Demon. This was definitely more of an Oliver Queen-related personal venture that was entirely separate from the League.

Just caught up on the last two weeks. Really been enjoying this show. Grodd was actually really well done, and I am really psyched to see what happens with Wells. Anything involving Reverse Flash is awesome at this point.

There's still quite a bit of cheese going on. Come on...were they really playing "Cold as Ice" in the background when he met with Captain Cold to help them???
