Using WH for everything as usual. Knock on wood ive always had decent seats, and I like not having to deal with the 10 am hassle or finding tickets later.

Never tried it. I did the Dallas lawn and it was a cesspool.

Maybe we should go big on pit this year. We would never do dallas lawn except last year we had like 12 people going to the show so we had to do it. It is definitely a dumpster fire.

Saw a blurb in the fine print about no signs this year. Is this new? Or have I just not seen it before.

"Due to a new policy, signs, placards and banners with messages for the band will no longer be allowed at DMB shows."

Totally in favor of this if this is new and will be enforced.

Major changes:

1) Payment plan. They charge $25 for you to use the payment plan. $$
2) Convenience fee increased (now $6.50/ticket instead of $5.50) $$
3) Shipping increased (now $16 instead of $13) $$
4) No signs at shows: Due to a new policy, signs, placards and banners with messages for the band will no longer be allowed at DMB shows.

I did. Most people are actually very happy with the no signs. But there are some that are melting.

Its a good question. Maybe they are hoping the crowd will police it. Since pretty much everyone in the crowd that doesn't bring a sign hates everyone who does...that might take care of itself pretty quickly now that they have policy on their side.

Plus, people that bring signs may not get through the gates with them now that this is policy.

Is that camera policy new? I've only ever had an issue with them not allowing my camera in Atlanta. (Mine is a point & sheet, not a bigger one with detachable lens, which I assumed was against policy)

No, I'm pretty sure that's been in place for awhile. Also, most Live Nation tickets say no cameras. Enforcement is very spotty. The only show I've been completely shut down is Pelham and I was fifth row (no pit) - that was Live Nation security. They typically don't mess with point & shoots (sheet?) at the gate. They go after detachable. I think Ann (Sully4of5) has one of those and was called out by Dave once.

My point is I doubt they're going to actively go after sign-bearer's. I think it's great they're raising awareness. Maybe the sign idiots will now realize that along with everyone around them, the band hates you too.
