2012 had more songs that I like than 2013. But honestly both are better than anything we've seen this year or last year.

far from being two of the best 3.0 shows when they aren't even the best of their year.


i'd probably go with hartford, and i was at that spac show. only thing saving that show is the encore. the 2nd half of the show is pretty good, but had some speed bumps. nothing mind blowing though.

That hartford show was incredible. I wouldn't list YMDT as one of the bad songs. And especially that version.

You're an idiot. The band was on fire that night.. I hadn't seen them have that much energy in a long time. The final 6-7 songs were unreal that night and it was a LIOG > Two Step mid set

My reasons for Hartford, too. What an incredible show that was.

I was starting to question whether we needed to go to as many shows going into that night and that show renewed my belief in this band about what they are capable of. It showed me that top 10 shows and "moments" like HallowBillies are still possible.

Squirm and Gravedigger are considered bad songs? I know If Only is not liked around here, but I really enjoy it. And wouldn't consider YMDT a bad song either.

No, not a joke. Hartford is in the lead. On paper Hartford has the better set, but Spac has the dub encore. Interesting poll to me.

The copperpot video of Hartford 2012 has one of the highest number of views for any of the shows on his channel. You can really feel and hear the energy from both the crowd and the band.

I don't even think this is right though -- I've never heard anyone call that SPAC '13 show one of the best of this era. It was a good show. I left happy.

But best of this era are shows like AC 3 '11, Randall's 2 '11, Alpine '12, Starlake 2 '12, Camden 2 '13, etc.

I think Hartford was the better show, but SPAC had the better moments. JTR and Recently were both liberations, and that was exciting. Two of their best songs were back. Plus, the double encore.
