Midnight thirty on a Wednesday is a dumb time to do a "shooting". Seems more like a shooting that happened on campus than a "school shooting. I'm eager to learn the facts/circumstances surrounding this event.

thats true, i only do my school shootings when 500+ people are made available to me in a closed environment. 400 is way too much.

did anyone see what some asshole student reporter working for ESPNU said? Marisa Martin is her name and she said something like "reported gunman on FSU campus, maybe he's looking for jameis"

Then someone tweeted back at her saying she needs to grow up and she replied "I am entitled to my opinions"

Then she got all kinds of hate replies (deserved), and then tried to claim on the UA Campus Connection account that her personal account was hacked and that there is an investigation underway. As if anyone would care to hack her twitter! She's since deleted her personal account.

It amazes me how people continue to blunder so horribly on social media.

Have you ever been to college? Lots of school libraries are open until 1-2am. Some are even 24 hours.

lol I went to NC State, not a massive university, but no local community college either. We have two campuses, each has their own library. That could be a factor to why my number perception is off.

The article I just read said there were close to 300 students which seems reasonable at one main library at a large university weeks before finals. There, mystery solved.

Actually just did a research paper on violence/shootings at schools and the numbers have come down tremendously over the years. Studies are showing that a school campus is actually one of the safest places for students.

Just thought i toss that out there.

Was on campus today. The classes were canceled. Atmosphere was unlike anything I've ever been through. Lots of incredible vigils and what not. The video of the marching cheifs will send a chill down any spine.
