I fully support this thread. if you have not seen flickerstick, please do youself and mankind a favor and go check them out. great live show, and they really have some amazing songs. they layer their music very very well, adn their lead singer Brandon has a surprisingly beautiful voice.

almost every time they come around here they play on a tuesday or some shit like that. chi-town is like 2 1/2 hours from here. so that's a huge pain in the man parts. but i will do my best to catch them in november.

well this sucks. i love seeing new bands live...... Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh is my favorite place to see music......... and i'm posting from my dad's house in Anchorage, Alaska right now.

it's tough to compare bands with other's, but maybe kinda like u2 with a splash of pink floyd.

That song "Smile" was very catchy.

yeah, i thought "smile" could have done real well on radio but epic really dropped the ball promoting them and the album. "beautiful" also could have done well.

they don't sound they way you would think they would by their appearence. i'm telling you guys, they have some very good shit going on. their live album "causing a catastrophe" is definelty worth the $8. and again, if you get a chance, check them out.

they sell all their cd's at the shows, i think they range from $5-$10. t-shirts are only $10. they're cool guys also, they stick around and talk/drink after the show.

Epic tends to do that. They suck...they did the same thing with a local band around my area that they signed.

another screw up was not releasing the album right when they won "bands on the run", it came out 6-8 months later. vh1 was playing the "smile" video as part of their prize and they didn't even have an album in stores.
