The Jane Goodall benefit was the show at the El Cap on 9/24/11.

The 3/11/12 date was a John Varvatos and Stuart House benefit show in West Hollywood.

Thanks for the corrections! Adding an extremely large number of video links w/ lots of copying & pasting, usually in the wee hours of the morning & not actually watching many, inevitably leads to a few mistakes. I deleted The Store show altogether & 1 of the Goodall Benefit shows as well. If there are any other mistakes I'd very much like to know about them so I can correct them ASAP!

I noticed the date for the Dave solo Memphis, TN show is wrong. You have it as 8/10/04 instead of 8/10/94.

I need to update that to include the 35 shows I've seen this year. Rather unbelievably I've gone to 138 shows a year since I moved from Oakland to Reno in 10/98. Most I ever went to in a year living in Oakland was 79. Whodathunk? I've been to 3171 shows altogether, including cover bands, which is kind of a hazy concept considering a bunch of excellent tribute bands & musicians who play covers in bands other than their regular bands.

To respond to a bunch of different posts.

1st of all, I didn't see Copperpot's playlist before I started adding all the DMB shows to the page on my site. I don't know if there are other such playlists of complete shows for all the other 419 bands that I have links to, but I rather seriously doubt it.

2nd, a lot of other people apparently don't know his playlist exists either, because the DMB videos get a helluva lot of hits from my page (obviously nowhere near the # of hits on his playlist because it's been up much longer than my DMB page). As a matter of fact, an enormous number of people have no idea what a playlist even is or that there are so many complete concerts of any band out there to begin with. I didn't either until last October.

3rd, there are links to videos on my DMB page that Copperpot did not upload. I have no idea how many he didn't upload or if they're included on his playlist or not.

4th, I honestly didn't notice the playlist option on YT when I started adding the vast majority of links to complete concert videos on my site. It frankly would have taken me a LOT less time to create playlists of all the shows of each band (at least those that have more than one video) rather than type & format ech show on each page & just link to those playlists for each band. It's WAAAAAAAAY too late for that at this point. In any case, I'd have preferred to have the video links on my site rather than just the playlists b/c I was hoping people would check out many of the other pages on my site (photos & the calendar for instance) if they got on it due to the video links & vice versa, but that rarely has happened.

5th, I don't ask for donations on ANY of the 420 or so video pages & I got exactly $175 in donations this year, all from 1 friend I hadn't seen in several years & 2 through Facebook.

6th, aside from the video link pages, on my site there are also 64,000 or so pix of 100s of bands (I take lots of pix at all the 138 shows I go to a year on avg.), sunsets, scenery, flowers, etc. that I took, 100+ graphic art images that I created, a live music calendar I update daily and links to numerous sites of 1000s of musicians, bands, magazines & other music related sites that I found & added myself. Believe it or not, all that took & takes a shitload of my time for which I think I deserve some compensation even though I still do it all without any. Nobody has helped for even 1 second on any of that. I realize everyone expects everything on the Net to be free, but I don't get ANY advertising $ like innumerable other sites (if you notice there are NO ads on it) merely because my site doesn't get remotely enough hits for any advertisers to be interested in it, so I've gotten donations only to pay my site hosting fees.

7th, I'm doing everyone who is into music a HUGE service for NOTHING, yet there are still people who nevertheless rag on me for it, but that's to be expected from the many ungrateful idiots in this effed up world. I disregard them & move on.

Thanks for your appreciation, & you very well could be right, at least as far as this thread is concerned. I've been chastised on a couple of other boards for posting links to videos other people have shot & for asking for donations, even if it's on the non-video links pages of my site. As I said, I wouldn't even do that if I were able to get advertising $, but that requires millions of hits to actually earn virtually anything. I honestly wish I'd figured from the get-go to make playlists for each of the multi-video bands & just link to those pages on my site. Would've saved me a LOT of time. I also can't stress anywhere near enough how much I appreciate the tapers.
