a lot of that show was typical 2008, so you have to judge it relative to that. Other than that, you got Typical, and the 1st of the current Two Step format. That encore was great

Louisiana Bayou (6-17-8)

The show was phenomenal until the encore of YMDT and Bayou. They performed both songs great, but it was a bit of a downer after such a great main set. Still, that is why I NEVER leave shows early - had no idea at the time that would be the last time I ever saw / heard Roi.

Of the songs played that night, Granny was never played again with Roi. That one will always be special for me.

I never said the encore wasn't great. but 3 songs justifying a show and making it awesome? that's just like saying last year's Hershey was awesome because of DIDO and LLD.

45 minutes out of the first hour was real boring. The last hour and 42 minutes was fucking great, even with WAYG.

Watchtower to close the 2004 Charlotte show. My 2nd son was born in 2005 and we quit going to DMB shows until 2008. The first show we go to was the first show after the accident with Coffin.

Edit: Mine too.
That stand also had Proudest Monkey, Seek Up and Loving Wings.
I still remember walking away from those concerts being happier than I had been since the '04 shows.
