I usually only do 2 shows per year anyway, because if you see a two night stand, you've pretty much seen the whole tour. That won't change, unless they only do 1 night in Hartford next year, then I might do Holmdel too if they play there again.

Same amount. 3 shows. Maybe 1 or 2 more if they're close. Otherwise just Texas and PA.

After looking at the Greek setlists and attending N2, my decision to do one per year is feeling just about right.

probably the same (one local, if there is one local) and one venue out-of-town. I will say that I may be slightly on the downward arc of my intense fandom. Sill love the band, but just not quite with the same fervor. Which is probably just a natural progression.

I'm seriously considering cutting all the way back to one. I'll never miss Bristow, it's just too close and too easy a drive. Very high likelihood VA Beach gets cut for me. Driving 3 hours for a one nighter just isn't worth it anymore, especially if I'm seeing them in Bristow the next night anyway. The wife and I have discussed possibly Camden next year since it's only about 4 hours and it's two nights. Plus we really enjoyed spending the day in Philly so that makes it worth it. But we'll have a new baby by then, so it's looking very likely it'll just be Bristow next year.

Maybe just charlotte and atl for me. Living in Knoxville, I have to drive a minimum 3 hrs to see dmb. If I had to pick 1 between charlotte and atl, I'd go CLT since they get better sets, even though it's further than Atl.

i may go to one. Only if they bring back the acoustic set, though. It was good seeing them again this year but i dont have anything i realllllllllllllly want to see from them anymore so it just doesnt matter. especially without Roi.

1 show a tour/year is the best way to enjoy DMB.

Yeah, since they're settling into this repetitive mode, it's not really worth the cost to travel to see them anymore more than once or twice a year.

We'll probably do the AR show since it'll be in our home state (if it happens) and a two night stand somewhere, but that'll be the most.

Definitely Less! Can't justify traveling across the country again to see the same songs I saw the week before along with the oh so entertaining LL set closing runs. We'll Do 1-2 semi local shows and hopefully some D&T. That being said, the Nola D&T shows were 2 of the best we've ever seen. What an amazing time that was all around. Oh, AND the LL weren't there!

I wonder if the growing #LoVE / #dMbfamily group rising in attendance will cancel out the amount of hardcores dropping in attendance.

It makes me wonder if the band would even notice or care that they're pushing away a lot of their base and long term fans to satisfy the new fans.

As soon as hardcores stop going, the sets are going to include JTR, Typ Situation, Broken Things, Captain, Cry Freedom, and the Last Stop in regular rotation....

So you're saying we should wear #LoVe shirts and coddle the band's proverbial nutsuck incognito so the band will play better sets? I can get behind that.

Exactly what I'm saying! But for real, I'm convinced that when I decide to stop going to shows, the sets are going to get better

$$$ is $$$ man. As long as they are making an acceptable amount of money for themselves and management. they don't care who is in the venue, just that there are people in the venue.

Supposed to do Chula/Irvine (would make 5 for the year) but may end up selling those if I can get confirmation the ladies will be there.

If anyone knows for certain PM me.

A lot up in the air for next year (New album?) but the chance of none for the first time since 1997 is on the table for a change....

No disrespect to anyone who has had good times this tour but for me (as a trader/follower of DMB since the 90s) this tour has made me less of a fan......

This is not good news for the community. Your videos are one of the best parts of the online DMB community. I'd hate to see your videos become fewer and fewer.

Next year sounds like it's going to be an album tour, so that means set lists will probably be predominately new stuff. Which could be good or bad, depending on the quality of the new album. Album tours are usually busier, with some of the non-regular stops (hopefully Columbus), possible European dates, Winter Tour, etc. Hopefully they can have a hit or 2 from this next album, which is something AFTW really lacked.

That's the only thing that would encourage me to take in more shows - if a quality album was released and PROPERLY SUPPORTED.

There are some quality songs on AFTW (Broken Things, The Riff, Snow Outside, Drunken Soldier) But I do agree, there's a lack of "radio friendly" material from this album.

if they only do a summer tour, then it'll be the same - both nights at camden. this year was the least i've ever seen the band since i started going.

i'll definitely be back at the gorge though.

Agreed. After my first couple listens, my initial reaction was that it was a good, solid record, but I didn't really hear one song that had the potential to be a popular radio single. That stuff doesn't matter to me, at all. I like what I like regardless of how popular it is. But if DMB wish to keep playing these venues every year, they need to have a current hit or 2 to draw in the casual fans, new fans, or old fans who fell off the bandwagon.
