They were awful at Bonnaroo 2005. Worst set of the entire festival and I am a huge fan of the band. Glad to hear they are working out the festival kinks. Totally stoked for the new album.

i misunderstood the OP and thought that was a clue for a headliner... clearly it could only be Springsteen or a Rage reunion (which they are known to do for festivals).

agreed on modest mouse completely sucking at roo 05. definitely a big let down that year, much moreso than even the stand up heavy, short-for-a-headline-slot dmb set.

being from minnesota, seeing trampled by turtles there a couple years ago on the thursday lineup was a treat, and it was great to hear their name be brought up by roo-goers over the rest of the weekend as shows they'd enjoyed. if they're there again this year, i'd imagine they'd get an actual weekend slot this time around.

Bob Dylan was one of the worst people i've ever seen live. the whole group i was with at the Mullins Center left after 40 minutes. it was that boring. him headlining Roo would be a huge mistake.
