Great win for these kids, from a school only five minutes away. People are screaming in the streets...not really, but they should be.

    Started yesterday!

i hate the new bat rules. they sound like dead shit too.

with the push back of the fences plus the new dead bats, i can see this WS being pretty low on the long ball. which makes for a less enjoyable game for me... but whatever.

We don't have Little League in my town. We played Dixie League. We had some teams that could have definitely made it to the SE Finals and maybe even Williamsport.

made them act and sound like wood. less "trampoline effect".

the only benefit to a non-wood bat now is that they don't break, and maybe a little bit more bat speed.

this change is for everyone, t-ball through college.

Yea they really try to make it seem like Little League is the only league out there. To be honest as a 12-13 year old, kids should be playing with a farther mound and bases. The move from a 60 foot diamond to a 90 foot diamond must be ridiculous. I think I played on a 75 foot diamond at that age.

ahh the black east jerseys. that was a great year for the LLWS. i remember watching that being blown away. I may have been in my first year of Little League that year. My teams were always undersized and out played once we advanced to the final stages of districts, so we never got out past that :/

Current Red Todd Frazier was on this team, I'm 99% sure.

yes, this game is unreal. it's sloppy, but there's so much pressure on each team, as both are offensive juggernauts.

props to the hawaiian doing the traditional hawaiian tribal chant dance in the crowd on the return from commercial segment

Hawaii better rally. i'm originally from about two hours away from williamsport and this time of year is special for me. always used to go watch them games when i was younger and even in high school. i may head out for a game when i'm home over the next two weeks. i'd love to see hawaii there, despite the tempers present on a few of their players....

i mean, if you've got the cameras, i say why not?

although i don't think that view was good enough to overturn the call. an "i think his heel knicked the bag" isn't the same as "yeah, he definitely made some contact with the bag".

that said, if you're that up... you can't call him out like that. that's just a shitty, shitty call. like calling a check swing to end the game, or a balk to send the winning run home. you just don't do that shit, even if it IS the right call.
