And as I've said before, I really enjoy plenty of his films, but he's always just Ben Affleck. I don't think he has the chops to take on a role as huge and well known as Batman.

yea I kind of realized this after the fact, that as in that scene he seems to be in some sort of specially tailored Batman outfit that isn't his normal one, like something much more mechanized/armored, I would guess it's directly related to him dealing with Superman there as opposed to any other foe he might face. But just the fact that that's a specifically designed suit, maybe that's why his voice sound so modulated there. because again, I'm not sure I'd be so gung ho if that was what his Batman voice will sound like for the whole movie.
and you guys talking all about Zach Snyder's visual prowess... just even to play devils advocate here, does that ultimately make him really all that worlds away from, say, the likes of Michael Bay? so that he's kind of at the mercy of his script for how good the individual film will actually be? I mean granted I've still not seen the whole thing yet (remember catching like 15 minutes once), but a movie like
Sucker Punch, yea that had that very extreme Snyder visual style, and that has virtues to it, but I feel like most I've heard talk about that movie, it sucked big time.
