Yeah it's pretty weird that one. Guess it depends on your taste as well.

I'm completely bingeing on the whole 2008 financial crisis for some reason. Even though I've already seen them all at least once, just in the last few days I've watched The Big Short and Too Big To Fail again, and last night got about 30 minutes into Inside Job.

I don't know why, it just pisses me off all over again

Kung Fu Panda 3. Wife wanted to go, I liked the first two. Third one is solid.

Surprisingly philosophical and a significant amount of artistry on display in that whole trilogy. Pixar does not hold the monopoly on good CG films these days.

I got to see an advance screening of Deadpool last night. They absolutely nailed it. It's fun, it's hysterical, the action is great. We really had a blast. My wife (who knew nothing about the character) laughed the whole time and wants to see it again next week when it comes out.
Thank you for the correction...knew I was wrong when I wrote that but couldn't remember...good memory!

Just watched hateful 8...not bad but disappointing honestly...some weak and cheesy characters that annoyed me.

Are you all harsh or not about accents? I try not to let it ruin a movie but a bad accent takes a long away for me. Whataysay about accents, partly bad ones? Affect your enjoyment and does it matter if it's an accent you're familiar with?

    Example...hope this isn't t a spoiler...hated the "Mexicans" accent and couldn't take him seriously.

That character was played way over the top and was obviously meant for comic relief. Coincidentally, Demian Bechir, the actor who plays him, is in fact Mexican.

It should piss you off. The general public got completely screwed over by a bunch of rich, arrogant, stupid people who received next to no punishment for it all.

I can barely remember anything about Spectre to tell you the truth. It's a very forgettable entry in the Bond canon.

think I posted about frank a few weeks back. agree on the third act. wish they had gotten to that a bit earlier (I guess they sort of did with scoot mcnairy's comment), but without it the ending wouldn't have been as good

Hail, Caesar!- I got some good laughs out of it, and I'm a sucker for old timey 50's Hollywood, but there are many dull moments and the story just kinda lost steam towards the end. I still liked it alright, but I imagine a lot of people in here are gonna hate it, or like me, just be pretty disappointed. Cowboy guy (don't remember actor's name...Aldo something) stole every scene he was in, and C-tates was awesome as well, albeit not enough screen time. B-

Having a boys night tomorrow with my buddy at his place. I'm bringing him a bud brownie and we are gonna watch the Entourage Movie (neither of us have seen it), and then Swingers (He's never seen it). Very stoked.

'.... come out to play...' the best part of the movie is that it's a snapshot of late 1970's New York. It's practically exactly how I recall it, minus all the fancy jackets on the gangs. But just the subways, the buildings, etc. The movie itself is fun, but it's the atmosphere that they didn't realize they were capturing that makes it unique.

one of my favorites. great tone, and some awesome chase scenes

I mapped out one day on google maps how long it would have taken them to get back to coney on foot, and it's about 10 hours obviously they get rid of some of that from subway

if there were no boring love interest it would be worlds better
