I don't understand why so many people drink Stella...it's overpriced in the States, usually, and doesn't taste great IMHO. Isn't it the overseas equivalent of a Miller Light?

truth, of all macro beers, miller is by far the most disgusting.

This is in my opinion of course, and I mean no disrespect to you, OneMoreDrink.

No it doesn't. Red Stripe is an alright to good sweet. Budweiser is sweetened piss water.

And Miller is by far the least bad of the macros.

Gulden Draak is pretty solid. Not nearly as over-yeasted as Duvel and others.

I've been sitting there looking at Rochefort more than a few times. But I just can't stomach the idea of paying $7 for a tiny bottle that could be full of epic fail again. It says Trappist, which is code for me to stay away.

Hmmm, man I hate all the weird German beers. I go to the store and I can't remember what I've had and what I haven't. They all have the same Schneidelwasher giberish names, and the labels all look the same too. They're usually all pretty good though.

On a more macro German-style level, I bought a 6 pack of Berghoff Dark Ale or something (purple kind) and it was GREAT. I mean, talk about one of the smoothest beers I've ever had. It was surprising and refreshing. Didn't expect it to be very good at all going in.

Ok I understand, I guess I quite lucky cause I live in Europe, and I always get them for under 2€. Now that's bottle not draft. Draft trappist would be more, but that;s cause its in a bar or tavern.
For my beers, I rather have quality than quantity, but that's just me i guess.

Why not have both? That's how I live.

I picked up a 30 case of High Life for $11.99, then a 24 case of Pabst Blue Ribbon for $9.99. Which I just keep in my fridge.

Before I drink that though, I'll have a few quality beers. Once I'm good and buzzed, I switch to cheaper stuff.
