Anyway. I just heard the new album. It's absolutely phenomenal. I think my favorite is "The Sun Also Sets"...it's just charged with Ryan energy. The whole album is really gorgeous. A little bit of everything: jam band grateful dead loving ryan, country ryan, solo acoustic singer songwriter ryan, rocking ryan. Really couldn't have asked for more from this release. It won't be my favorite of his, but it's definitely in the mix.
So nice to have new Ryan material to digest.

Thumbs up all over the place.
Nothing can top Heartbreaker but this album may rival it.
I'm still a virgin to this album for the most part. Two is absolutely amazing. Other than that I've only downloaded the Kinston 2007 show from the archive.org and gave it a few listens. Live the songs are great so I'm ready for the "official" release.
I've also succumbed to the multiple pre-orders for an autographed 7", a DVD, a poster, etc. I think I have 8 copies of the album coming to my residence on the day of relese. 3 copies on cd and 5 on vinyl. A lot yes but I hand the cd's out to friends and keep the vinyls just cause they're "cool". AND I also pre-ordered the re-issue of the 5 albums on 180g vinyl even though I have 2 original copies of each already. I'm going to make wall collage with all the albums framed to go along with the signed guitar. Altar??
God what am I saying.....
Scratch that. Framed albums with my other collectible vinyls. Signed guitar stays locked up. Loser. I mean. Fuck. What...I. I don't know.

Oh, and in honor of this release, if anyone wants unreleased material, Bed Heads, or live shows, leave your email addy. I'll send them to you. I'll limit it to the first 5 responses and send 5 cd's to each person mixed with good stuff (48 states only). No strings attached. I've done this before and am ready to do it again!
