It is amazingly efficient.
You can take a picture, type up a quick caption, and then send it to a bunch of people.
1.) When I use my regular phone camera (Galaxy S4), it is very slow in loading people, selecting people, and actually being delivered thru MMS.
2.) Secondly, by default it sends it to a "group" in MMS, I just want to send it to a number of people individually. Once you send it to one person in MMS, your entire phone MMS texting mechanism is delayed until the thing finally sends. So you can't even forward the picture until the first one is complete.
3.) The pictures take up no space. If I send a bunch of MMS pictures, they stay in my text messages, and load up on space. Inevitably, my texting apps start slowing down. With Snap, you send it and it's gone. No overhead.
4.) Navigating who you want to send to is easy. I'd probably want to send a picture generally to only 10 people in my phone. I have over 100 contacts tho total. So scrolling through all those, or typing in names in the "To" row is cumbersome and time consuming. With Snap, you have the core people you want to send to and all you have to do is checkmark X number of them.
If you want to send a picture to 10 people, with a quick caption, and all in 10 seconds or less...Snap accomplishes that.
Plus it adds a "quick! everyone crowd around the phone, let's see what was sent!" element of surprise and anticipation.
