Yeah, I love what the guy has done for the organization and he's the embodiment of a captain. Let's not forget last spring training what he and Parnell (I think) did to Syndergaard to let him know it's not okay to sit in the clubhouse.
That being said, he's absolutely a shell of what he was. He's a strike out machine, he doesn't (appear to be, I haven't actually checked his splits) to be hitting lefties well, and his arm strength is absolute crap. I do think, if he wants it, he has a future in coaching. He's got that demeanor.
