Re: New York Yankees

Best record in the majors since May 4, which is the day Arod went on the DL. Coincidence?

ARod just started to heat up while the rest of the team wasn't touching the ball. Hoping he only adds to the success. Team looks good right now.

The A-rod thing is a little fascinating. I always have hated him, but I'm not sure he is to blame for the early struggles and recent success without him. Chapman returning definitely has a lot to do with the recent success. A-rod's WAR for the year is actually positive.

Nova is crusing through the inning, but because on a 1-2 pitch he hits clips someone on the toe, Joe thinks its a great idea to go to Chasen Shrieve who has been ineffective since last August. He is so fucking stupid

Come on, that wasn't that dumb. Nova was at 107 pitches and he was struggling the past couple innings.

He gave up a solo Homerun, then retired 5 straight, then hit a guy on the toe with 2 strikes...he's a moron

if you think Chasen Shrieve is a better option than Ivan Nova, the way he's been pitching, at 107 pitches, than you re an idiot

Chasen Shreve is so fucking bad and it's amazing that he's still being used at the major league level in close situations.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, all he does is give up big runs in big spots.

Good to see CC making a nice comeback. You can tell he's gotten more comfortable with not being able to throw 98MPH, more of a veteran, crafty type guy now.
