Question about seating in the arenas

So my buddies and I are going to Brooklyn and have a few questions. If we get GA Floor seats, and we are willing to wait, how close can we get? Is it all about who waits in line? Any feedback or experience with the arena shows is appreciated.

If you have WH tickets its about waiting! I was railed in front if Dave at Philips Arena in 2010. I got to the venue at around 9:30-10 am and was about 8-10 deep in the line

There is no reserved section in front of GA, so it's first come first serve for front row up against the rail.

Warehouse ticket holders get in first though, so if you get TM tickets, you won't be front row.

If we get TM tickets for the GA Floor what time around should we get in line to get decently close?

At least 2-3 hours before gates open. If not sooner

In my past experiences if you show up about 20-30 minutes before the opener goes on you'll be about 5 people back dead center. It may be different being this is in NYC and at a new venue and all, but id take my chances over waiting in line for 12 hours to be front row.

You could always be an asshole and push your way to the front. Just make up a BS excuse about how you're friends are up front and you want to be with them or something.. But if you run into anyone with a backbone, like me, you're gonna have to find another path.

pavilions with small GA pits are completely different than arenas with entire floors of GA tickets. at philly in 2010, there were 10-15 rows just of WH tickets. if you got in 30 minutes before the opener, you were probably half way back on the floor. and at cville, even waiting in line for 3 hours before the doors even opened only got you to about the 10th row center. if you have any intentions of being anywhere close, you need to be there early afternoon, if not in the morning*. rail will require being there early morning*.

*weather depending. cold and shitty weather will buy you time before needing to get in line.
