Ooooooh Statten Island girls are really bad. Yeah, that'd be close. I mean, I try not to judge people based on some horrible stereotype (wait, what am I saying, yes I do), but yeah......I've encountered both, and they could be neck-and-neck.

Is there a stereotype with NE/MA/Boston chicks???

Bill Simmons always mentions it, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

I know this is probable a stupid question but I was wondering what are those things that are at mid field at the Meadowlands. I have always wondered what those things with sparks coming out of them were. This is for a west coast guy that has no clue about the east, educate me.

Big win for the Pats today, good job defending their home field.

And that new field turf looked much better than the old torn up grass surface.

    Oh she knows.

Great game for the Pats today. Maybe the split was the best for Brady? After two games not getting into the endzone, he counters it with two TDs today. 40-7 win over the Texans. Granted it's the Texans, but it's a win. 10-4 baby!

My boyfriend and I just got back from the game, and it was SUCH a good time. Can't beat a 58 degree Pats blowout on the 30yd. line!

30 yard line? I've been to one Pats game and they were actually decent seat. Right smack dab in between the field goal posts on the lighthouse side of gillette. It was the Eagles/Pats super bowl year. And it was the Sunday night game against the Bills, right before Bledsoe left them and when Troy Brown made a pick as a Defensive Back.

Yup! Ironically we got the tickets from my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend's ticket-holding dad. I guess staying in touch with exes does come in handy once in awhile!!

Sure does. Almost same way I got into the game. My friend's Dad's company had seats. Only game I've been to. Lucky to get the tickets and happy I took it in.

I'm pretty sure the rest of the NFL is shitting their pants at the thought of who the Patriots got in the past couple days...not to mention the people who are talking with NE....

    I know I would be.

    A. Thomas is a bit disconcerting, but at least NE is probably not gonna be getting Moss now (with what they gave up for Walker)

Oh in case you didn't know, our boy Peyton Manning is gonna be hosting SNL on March 24th - dont want you to miss it.

Adalius Thomas was a good signing, though you never know with LBs once they hit 30.

Wes Welker? We're suppose to be impressed with Wes Welker? Oooook, if you say so.

I think the Pats are over reacting to last season. The truth of the matter is they've added a linebacker nearing 30, an undersized reciever at a steep price, and an old TE. The Samuel situation isn't over yet either.

hopefully Moss will go to the Packers instead. But A. Thomas may be a little overrated coming out of a system in Baltimore that could make anyone look good. Welker is a solid #2 guy, which doesn't help with the Pats receiving corps, but Brady will make him look good, just like he does w/ all the other #2 guys he gets.

New England is going to shred this year. Plus, they still have two first round picks. Jesus, I love football.

Big whoop, Tommy did it two years ago. Not to mention, Peyton has no personality beyond "CUT THAT MEAT" so I'm sure it won't be 1/2 as funny as when Tommy did it anyways

    1. Stallworth isn't much to cream my panties over. I'm mainly happy at the thought of him because him leaving Philly would = upset Eagles fans, and that's almost as good as a happy NE fan in my opinion

    2. Thomas is going to be great. Him and Tedy will be a good team.

    3. Welker is better than no WR. People seem to forget that the Pats didnt have a WR last year.....so a decent one is better than not having one.

Age doesn't matter in New England. Why don't people get this? Had Junior Seau not had some fatass bears player put his foot through Junior's forearm, the guy would have had a phenomenal season. And he's like 7604!

Watch the linebackers play, and then tell me age doesn't matter. They're all very smart which allows them to play, but they don't have the athleticism any more to make an impact.

Yes. Beating San Diego in SD and making it to the AFC championship is a good measure of mediocrity.

    Thank you for enlightening me

Eh, we don't care, we have two first round picks anyways. We get a good LB and another decent WR and we're set.

I think 14 teams in the AFC think NE had quite the impact this year, though.

Not really, they're all jealous of the Colts. The Pats are just a team with a low draft pick.

Jealous of the Colts? Yeah, shit, I have no clue how they are going to survive the draft or be contenders for next year...they should just hand it to Indy now...

But wait.....The Pats added an impact LB (which they really needed), an impact WR, and replaced a back-up TE and soon to be back-up RB with cheaper alternatives....AND they have two draft picks in the 1st round still

God, I cannot wait until September. Seriously.

Give me a logical explanation of why Wes Welker is better than anything the Pats put out there last year? I'm waiting to hear this.

But wait.....The Pats added an impact LB (which they really needed), an impact WR, and replaced a back-up TE and soon to be back-up RB with cheaper alternatives....AND they have two draft picks in the 1st round still

They need to nail those draft picks if they want any chance next year. Wes Welker didn't answer their WR needs. Thomas is the classic NFL example of paying for what someone has done rather than what he will do.
