Miami fan living in Minnesota, but I follow the Vikings closely. AP is a straight stud. They key this year is is Tavaris can settle into the West Coast offense. If he has the ability to not lose games Minnesota could easily be a playoff team with its defense, offensive line and Peterson.

I never understood why the Vikings ever designated Tarvaris Jackson as their future. I guess they just need it cold, hard evidence that he is terrible. And it resulted in a division loss.

He's terrible, I never thought there'd be a person with worse decision making skills than Daunte Culpepper.

We've got some great names on the O line, and everyone expects them to be, and thinks they are, good - but theyre not. They're like a goddamn sieve in pass protection.

I think they could still become good because they've got guys who've produced in the past and who should still be good. I just think they havent learned how to work together effectively. And they need to do that or this team will go nowhere....

It's more so that Jackson is a horrible QB, even David Carr wouldn't want to be him.

Jackson does look terrible, but this O-line is surprisingly bad. I think most Vikings fans expected this much from Jackson, but not from the O-line. They're actually a disappointment at this point.....

The right side is absolutely horrid and McKinnie is great for about 80% of the plays and awful the other 20%. Kelly Holcomb should be starting.

Put David Carr behind an O-line that blocks and a running back that doesn't get hurt easily and I bet he's a decent quarterback. He was in a no-win situation in Houston and got blamed for it. Horrible O-line, horrible defense, etc.

Vikings will finish the season 1-15, they couldn't have a bigger hole at the QB position.

didnt think i'd want brad johnson back, but right now...just about anything's better than what we've got going.

I'll take Warren Moon at this point, or any one armed accident victim who can complete a pass downfield.

It doesn't matter who we put at QB. They won't have more than about two seconds to stand in the pocket before McKinnie or Ryan Cook, or Artis Hicks gets beaten by some really small defensive lineman. That is our problem no pocket protection, none. It was aweful last year, and it is just as bad this year. What bugs me, is that we did nothing about it in the offseason when it was our glaring need.
