Is anyone interested in my 200+ show CD collection? I have them lying around the house, the shows span from 95-2005 (Obviously, I don't have every single show).

Incredibly uncommon these days. In 2004, back before the pit bullshit, I scored REAL front row through instants for Toronto. 2005 I got 3rd row at Red Rocks. Sometime after that instants became the dumping ground for the shitty ass tickets that the WH couldn't unload.

Congrats Watchtower6991. You got extremely lucky.

It doesn't seem right that a member since 2000 (me!), gets row L of 201 when you get those seats. No offense to you, enjoy!

The issue IMHo is that WH does not or can not get a batch of seats right near the fron of PAV off the bat. It gives more motivation to renew WH membership every year.

Perhaps go back to seniority ..if need be but they can also remind less senior members that everyone still gets a decent seat regardless (in this scenario).

This is a tradition that won't change - any thread related to DMB Toronto shows has as much excitement as the parking lot outside the venue pre-show.

OK maybe this question will wake up the group.. if I read correctly, the Toronto Pride Festival is on at the exact same time.
I suspect that means hotels, restaurants, etc (not to mention traffic) will be packed all over the area.

Has anyone had issues booking a (somewhat last second) hotel because of this?
Should we leave extra time for travel in preparation?

depends where you are coming from....also consider the Gardiner (main hub into downtown) has a lane closed for ongoing construction.....if within walking distance, no worries!

If you are planning on staying in the GTA as opposed to right downtown, look for a place on the GO line....drops right at Exhibition. Really no tailgate to speak of, so no great loss...

I will be staying on the Yonge TTC line, and transferring to the GO for the concert.. so I guess traffic won't be a concern to me (other than people-traffic on the trains .

Cant wait! Let's hope for another great setlist. Last years show will be hard to beat tho. I could go for The Stone again! Perhaps Rhyme and Reason this year??

You can also take the 63 bus south from Ossington or Eglington West subway stations right into Liberty Village (Right out side the Brazen Head pub) and walk, or take the Dufferin bus from Yorkdale Mall parking lot or Wilson station, south all the way down to Exhibition place right by the go stop.

DO NOT take the harbourfront 509 street car. They dug up EVERYTHING and it's a replacement bus now which does God only knows what route.

I'd avoid Queen street car if you can, it had 3 diversions last time I went on it.
