Depends on where you grew up and what you are accustomed to I think. While I cannot comment on detroit style I will give my two cents here:

New Haven Style > NY style > Chicago Style (aka glorified pizza hut)

Anyone tried the $5 lunch combo from Little Caesar's? It's not very good, but at least they put the cheese on top.

wtf Chicago style is nothing like Pizza Hut. And I've had all 4 types of pizza this month. They are completely different and it's all personal preference

I have no idea where that's from, but it doesn't look like the Chicago pizza I eat.

In any case, don't knock it until you try it. Lou Malnatis is fantastic. Did you see the Jon Strewart episode where he had them on?

That pizza was from Pizzeria Uno, the inventor of the deep dish pizza. Don't think much more needs to be said there.

This is pretty much the difference. What NY-ers call pizza, midwesterners call appetizers. If we just want douch, cheese, and some sauce, we order breadsticks, which is basically a NY pizza. If we want a satisfying meal, we order an amazing deep dish pizza.

Here in CT I think we are even more minimalists than even NY pizza and I'm fine with that. Here in CT if we want a Chicago style pizza we order some lasagna

Some of the best pizza places in CT

Do you even know what lasagna is?

Some of those looked like decent snacks. Nothing that could satisfy a workingman's hunger though.
