Yea it's only 1,500. I work for the venue, DMB special requested we make it only 1,500.

Finally after years of false starts and buying fake tickets, I am going to my 1st DMB show, needless to say I am elated, thanks to an Ants member for the tickets, big thanks.

Did anyone score any extra pit tickets or have 4 reserved together. Taking my wife to first show with some friends and would like to upgrade from lawn (don't think it would be a great experience at this venue from what I have been told). Let me know if anyone can help me out. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the local venue and radio stations said it sold out in about 10 minutes. Minus a few single seats that were available.

It has been since the civic center in '96 since this state has seen a DMB show - guess we're all pretty pumped.

There will probably be some seats released once ticketmaster sweeps all the orders and cancels any that are over the purchase limit. I'll try and keep everyone posted if things get released.

I have a room reserved at the casino accross the street that I am not going to use. I am looking for Spac tix either night. I would love to trade the room for tickets is possible. i would make up the cost diff so that it is a face value transaction.

Way go Bangor! A 10minute sell out! Only 4 venues have sold out, to date. Some disappointed, but there are lot of very happy fans. Hope Bangor becomes a repeat venue. That would save me a lot of travel expenses. Although I never regret flying across the continent and driving the 6 hours from Vancouver to The Gorge. Bangor and the Gorge, both at the far reaches of the contiguous USA. Bangor, legend in the making? Maybe a lofty dream. Nonetheless gunna have a good, good time.

Only 1500? I thought that sounded like a lot. I guess I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. So it shouldn't be too crammed in the pit?

It seems small to me because for our country shows we do 3,000 people pits.
Our venue doesn't have perminant seats so we can rearrange to for each show. I know for this show we are taking the first 16 rows out for the pit. I don't think it will be too bad but there won't be a ton of room. The pit will have its own beer hut to use.

Sweet. 1500 beats the hell out of 3000!

I'm fairly certain I got the last hotel room in all of Bangor. We're staying at the Days Inn and I called 5 other hotels after I booked to try and get a better rate and every single one of them had no vacancy. I hope it's not a dive but really it`s just a place to pass out after the show. Are there many good pubs around the venue to go to once the show is over?

Th days inn is fine. An it's only a five minute drive to the venue.
There are a ton of bars in downtown Bangor which is a quick walk from the venue. Sea dog, paddy Murphy's, blaze, ipanema, and my favorite Nocturnem.

    Wow, sold out already?

Guess I'm not surprised. I'll be wrangling for my tickets later on. Plan on doing this show and Mansfield as well. Saw them at Mansfield for the first time in a good seven years last year.

    I've kinda been hooked again.

I would honestly say drive your vehicle if you want to head right back to your hotel. I went to the Phish show last year and my mom lives about 5 miles from the venue. Tried to get a cab for about 2 hours and had no luck so ended up walking about 3 miles back to my moms at 1am until a cab drove by taking someone else home. We flagged them down and they picked us up but it was a total shit show to grab a cab at the venue. If you plan on hanging out for a while downtown then you might be able to find one. But if you drive you'll most likely be able to find parking, park at the parking garage or pay a fee at one of the lots.

There is a bar at the casino but I would definitely say you're better off downtown. I'm sure the casino scene will be a little different because of the show but you have a ton of options if you head downtown as far as bars and beer selection go.

Thanks for good advice - always appreciated. It would be great if we can maybe pick a spot and a time-ish and have a little pre-show gathering for one or two.....or more.

Hey everyone! Hartford is my home venue but I'm happy to say I am making the trek to Bangor and excited about it. My fiance and I are going to take her father's RV for the show. Can't wait!

Anyone know if there are any campgrounds, etc. nearby to park this thing? Could we take it in venue to tailgate? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Holden Family Campground is the only place that's reasonably close that I can think of. As far as taking it to the show it might be tough to find parking. There's not really a "lot" tailgating scene to speak of. Only local businesses that sell parking spots. Although the grocery store, Shaw's, is right across the street from the waterfront and I'm sure you could fit it in there if you're early enough.

I hope you're right. I was hoping they might add a second show in Bangor, but that's pushing it.
