How did they butcher two step? It was great in Duluth and Cville. I haven't heard the Brooklyn one but I can't imagine them fucking up two step

They were off on the Timebomb intro. Dave completed, but he didn't signal for Carter to bust out. The end result was Carter (and the rest of the band, sans Jeff) missed...and Dave was pissed off.

Dave's playing after the mess up was sloppy as hell too. His timing went to shit, and he was mixing up chords a decent amount.

if i recall correctly, the horns didn't come in on time at the beginning. from my angle i could clearly see dave turn around and just have a look of "jesus christ, wtf?" certainly didnt butcher the song but it pretty much put the icing on a shitty cake for me. might have been the first time i ever decided to walk out of a show during the encore. ah well, ya win some, ya lose some. i went to philly the next night, sat with my pops, had an amazing time.
now then, my next 6 nights: biscuits, my morning jacket (3x), phish, biscuits. happy concert season to me! |

Dave was beyond furious.Watch Stefan from the 2.20 mark....he looks scared,like my kids when I catch them doing something really bad.He keeps lookng at Dave,then Carter,Dave to Carter,like 10 times in 5 seconds.He has the 'Oh shit,Daves gonna be pissed" look...lol

i'm not going to get into a lot of detail, but once again, an ants member hooked me up with a badass seat.
I REALLY enjoyed the show. It was also my last of 4 winter tour shows. All other 3 were in GA. (IZOD N1, N2, and Mohegan) I am REALLY glad I got an actual seat for this one, because I had 2 chances to go pee/get beer. To me, this is a perfect scenario. Spaceman, and If Only were my justifiable beer songs. I don't get people upset about the sets, what do you honestly expect? you know the definition of insanity.... I will keep going to shows, and mix it up different ways (PIT, GA, seats, tailgating, sober) etc etc. This was my 34th show, and I was completely content. had a great time. |
