Season ones Sara was portrayed very young at times plus shes gone through quite the transformation from innocent to badass.

This may be reaching - but notice Roy is going by Jason now? He’s about to be launched in a new comic with the Red Hood (Jason Todd). I wonder if it has anything to do with that. Also, Malcolm spoke of others who had been brought back from the dead - this could be a Red Hood reference.

Really glad to see Katana in the series. She was a badass in the comics. Also, in the comics her sword was said to contain the souls of her dead son and her dead husband and she could use it to communicate with them.

I think we’re getting close to Thea becoming Speedy. At the end, when he left the suit and said “red is more your color” it made me think that soon she’ll be wearing the suit as Speedy.

Interesting stuff about Katana as I know nothing about her.

Ray Palmer - whatever happened to him after the explosion.

And Oliver - if he won't be going by "The Arrow" anymore, I could see it building up to him being called "Green Arrow" finally. I imagine that's the build to for the next season.

All in all it was a great season. The finale was fantastic. I really look forward to the next season.

I just finished the season last night finally. I disagree that it was a great season and was somewhat disappointed with the finale. I would give this season a 6 or 7 out of 10. It was just OK. Season 2 was fantastic and thus far the best season yet. I thought Season 3 started great and then hit the mid season break and lost steam when it came back.


In case anyone is still watching I'll spoiler:

I was also hoping that they would put the whole Ra's al Ghul plotline to bed. I don't know much about the comics, but isn't Malcolm a villain called Merlyn and does he have anything to do with the League in the comics? Ra's is just too much of Batman and I'd rather see them focus more on Green Arrow and his villains.

The finale just felt too conjested and like they were just trying to get everything wrapped up all at once. Understood, but they could have done it a little less rushed in my opinion. The virus thing was just dealt with way too quickly and felt like an after thought. The final fight with Ra's also felt rushed and not very epic enough. I'd like to see them try a different approach for the season finales. It just seems a little much that the city is in danger every single year. Best line of the season goes to Lance, "It must be May!" I laughed pretty hard at that. Kind of poking fun at themselves.

As far as Palmer, my guess is that he'll be able to shrink now. He was working on the shrinking mechanism of the suit when the explosion happened.

I was not a big fan of season 3 either. I think it started ok, but after the mid season finale the show took a dive. I was also not a big fan of the subplot flashbacks this year.

Does anyone know if the plan is still to do 5 seasons and call it quits?

A friend of mine had a conversation with Greg Berlanti last year and he remarked that he wanted to do a run like Smallville. Which I could definitely get behind, that was what, 10 seasons?

Agreed, for the most part. Characterization was very inconsistent Season 3. Season 2 much better.

Made no sense in Season 3 how he came back but then got his ass kicked in like two seconds. Wish they made him a little more powerful to begin with, but at least make him consistently powerful if you're going to bring him back, no?

Hearing Felicity say “metahuman” was interesting. As the Arrow universe hasn’t really dealt with powers much outside of the Flash. So if they’re going to start letting “metahumans” into their world, it opens up a lot of characters that could be brought up in the Arrowverse.

Man it was nice to finally hear Oliver say “Green Arrow”. Nice payoff.

Just caught up with the season premiere, thought it was pretty good. I do think it's interesting to see where they take H.I.V.E. and Damien Darhk. I need to see more personality in Oliver this season, thus far he's been mini-Batman/tortured soul, it would be nice to see more of the Green Arrow persona from the comics. Hopefully the name change will usher that in. Interesting to see what the 6-month flash forward will turn out to be.
