Hipster, no one paid that much in 1974 to see them. Your point makes no sense.

Think about it like this: If you want to see them, this is going to be one of the last times. These guys are in their 70s now and they don't need to keep doing this.

For your money, it is an impressive spectacle. They are on another level in that regard.

I don't know that any show is worth a grand for a pair of tickets, but considering how big they are and the caliber of show they still produce at their age, if it's in your means to go, they are pretty good.

What in the fuck are you talking about hobbit. I said why would you pay that kind of money to see them now. My point was that they were awesome in 1974, and I would have paid that to see them. Of course no one paid that back then, I never said they did.

I'm a hipster that listens to DMB, pearl jam, John Mayer, and the Rolling Stones. Classic hipster bands. I dunno where you got that or if you even know what a hipster is, but I'd much rather be a hipster than a 5 ft hairy fuck.

I've seen the Stones 4 times now and they are amazing in concert. But starting at almost $200 per ticket is ridiculous. It just seems like they are sticking it to the fans. They will say that the money goes on the eloborate stage production and blah, blah, blah... i don't need a stage production, I need to hear the band performing their songs. I don't need bombs and fireworks and multiple stages... That would help bring the ticket prices down.

This may be their last tour, but it will be one I miss.

I'm not sure that it would. With a 9-date tour for what could be their last ever, they simply know they can basically charge whatever they want and still sell out the shows.

It would be unreal to see Bill Wyman sit in with them, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

But if people don't want to see the, cause they don't dig their music, that's one thing. But if not wanting to see them cause they're old is dumbz.

I saw them for the first time in 1994 I think it was? And I thought that was going to be the last chance

But they still put on an awesome show, I know some people think of them as a cliche, or whatever. And I know they ain't cheap, and their stage show is over the top. But put all that aside, they're still an amazing rock band.

I'm really torn too. They're playing my hometown on my birthday, and I already had plans, but I can't think of anything that could top that for my bday.

Hearing Sympathy for the Devil and/or You Can't Always Get What You Want, as I turn 34.....well that just blows my mind

Saw them in 05 on the Bigger Bang tour and it was amazing. Sure it's overpriced, but they're one of the greatest rock bands ever and put on a heck of a show.

Just got 2 tickets to see them in Chicago and only paid $85 each!

I saw the promotion on Facebook that they were going to make a selection of tickets for every show available at $85 each, fees included. ($73.66 before fees.) There was a max of 2 tickets, they must be picked up at will call, and the kicker is you don't know where your seats are until you pick them up, they are scattered all over the arena. Could be nose bleeds, could be right in the 'Tongue Pit.'

Needless to say, I am STOKED. When I saw the promotion I thought "Yeah right, how many of those per show, like 10?" But was shocked when I actually pulled 2 for the June 3 show. Anyone else get any of these seats?

Had a pair pulled up through regular on sale in the last row of uppers for $335 total, but I just couldn't pull the trigger on those. I decided I'd try to grab a ticket last minute if anything rather than pay that much for the worst seats in the house. Then I went to the RS site to check something out and saw this whole deal for $85 a ticket.

I ended up getting the same deal for the 6/3 show so I'll see you at will call! Can't believe I actually got these and am going to see the stones for that cheap. I guess they have 1,000 tickets per show that they're selling this way.

The best part is we could end up in great seats that cost 10x what we paid!

Awesome man, congrats! I'll see ya there. Can't wait to find out what the seats are too. The best part is even if they are in the nosebleeds, they still cost less than half of what the regular price is!

I was excited to see 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking' on there. I *really* hope they keep that one on for tonight.

The fan request vote was between 'Some Girls', 'Just My Imagination', 'Live With Me', 'When The Whip Comes Down', and 'Sway'. I voted for 'Sway' but I have a feeling that won't win.

Really want to hear that tonight too so I hope that's one of the repeats. Not sure if you saw, but Taylor Swift is the special guest tonight.

Btw, I voted for Sway also.

One of my favorite "less commonly known" Stones songs.

Yes. I'm pretty sure she does so in Shine a Light.

The show last night was unbelievable!!! Our random $85 seats turned out to be in Section 101, center court 17 rows off the floor - $450 section, amazing! The show absolutely rocked, setlist was great. 'Sway' won the fan vote and Mick Taylor's solo on it was incredible. They also did 'Live With Me'!

Taylor Swift was indeed the guest, she sang duet with Mick on 'As Tears Go By'. You could tell she was really nervous, Mick was holding her hand and whispering some of the cues in her ear. They smartly did NOT introduce her before the song to avoid her getting booed. Mick introduced the song and they went into it, and after about 10 seconds then Swift came walking out onto the stage. She sounded ok but you couldn't tell she didn't know the song very well.

    Set List:

    Get Off My Cloud
It's Only Rock and Roll (But I Like It)
    Paint It Black
    Gimmie Shelter
Sway (by fan request, with Mick Taylor)
    Live With Me
As Tears Go By (w/Taylor Swift)
    Emotional Rescue
    Doom and Gloom
    One More Shot
    Honky Tonk Woman
You Got The Silver (Keith vocals)
Before They Make Me Run (Keith vocals)
    Midnight Rambler (w/Mick Taylor)
    Miss You
    Start Me Up
    Tumbling Dice
    Brown Sugar
    Sympathy For The Devil

    Encore:
You Can't Always Get What You Want (w/Roosevelt University Conservatory Choir)
    Jumpin' Jack Flash
    Satisfaction (w/Mick Taylor)

We ended up in sec 233 row 3 with our $85 tickets! Had a blast last night! I'm so glad I caught them one more time.
