Orange is the New Black (Netflix)

Anybody seen this yet? Just watched the first two episodes and I really like it, it's new and different

And Taylor Schilling is absolutely gorgeous

apparently they've already signed for a second season

I watched the first episode earlier today. Enjoyed it. Idk why, but i have a thing for prison shows. I loved Prison Break.

On the 5th episode! It's good, it's definitely keeping me interested and I'm really attracted to Taylor Schilling haha. It's gotten great reviews so far too. I feel like I'll finish season 1 by the end of this weekend lol

Wife and I started watching this the other night. After 2 episodes, we're hooked. Good timing, too- there was definitely a lull in good shows to watch now.

I know a guy who writes for this show. He used to be a writer/producer on Weeds (the two shows have the same creator/showrunner). The promos for it have looked awful, like a Steel Magnolias set in prison-type of thing, so I've been on the fence about watching it. Lead actress is cute enough, but I don't think that's going to be the tipping point, as far as watching it goes. I might give it an episode or two to start, but this is sitting in a long line of shows that I haven't watched from last season yet, so it's not at the top of my list.

Never saw previews, just jumped right in, I really like it. Some of my favorite active Shows I include: game of thrones, walking dead, breaking bad, suits, hell on wheels, ray Donovan, homeland and this show has proven to be decent so far.

Trailer didn't catch me. Seems like a bit of a "girl power" show. May check it out later if the good reviews keep rolling in.

I can see how a trailer might depict that, but I haven't seen that. On to episode 6!

Ok you were right. This show is pretty good and that Taylor chic is pretty cute. I see a lot of familiar faces in this show though I can't place many of them. Going to keep watching now. I'm on Ep. 5 now.

Yeah, it's pretty interesting. I like how they do the flashbacks to show how people ended up in there. We should have a lot to talk about with this show on the way to Va. Beach.

Within the first few minutes, we have The Staples Singers' music and naked women.

    Off to a good start.

Not just naked women but naked women making out in the shower.

But the story is good too. I'm 5 episodes in and very invested in all the main characters stories. I care about what happens and what has happened to them. To me that's the making of a good show.

Just finished the third episode and I'm enjoying it. The guard/inmate romance is a bit of a yawn, but the rest is good.

Glad to see Donna got work again. Biggs, too. I laughed at his American Pie reference.

Lot of faces from Weeds, which makes sense since Jenji Kohan created both - Pornstache guard, Piper's counselor and Natasha Lyonne all appeared on both. In fact, the source material is a book, otherwise I would've thought it was an idea Kohan spun out of Weeds.

Yeah that romance is weird. Hopefully they're going somewhere with that.
