Re: What is your craziest, most extreme irrational fear?
I'm afraid of repetitive raised patterns of unknown type and origin. It is an absurd fear, but a pile of upright golf tees suddenly appearing on the ground next to me would generate the same reaction as a cat realizing there is a cucumber next to them. If I knew what it was, I still wouldn't want to look at it but it wouldn't be a jumping sort of fear. I'd just avert my eyes. Obviously random and unexpected raised patterns don't usually pop up in real life so it's more of an "ahhh", flip the page back in a book or close out the browser really quickly sort of reaction. Interestingly, irregular patterns don't bother me. It has to be uniform. So if a pile of junk were to suddenly appear it wouldn't bother me.
I'm also afraid of heights and I'm afraid of the restraint failing on upside down roller coasters but I don't consider those irrational.
