    Californication.

One of the first albums I listened to everday, memorized all the songs, and loved them all. I think that album is perfect. John Frusciante's harmonies are AMAZING.

its sad that that lame butterfly song by whoever it was is a simple ripoff of that song. add some lame lyrics and some lame beat and its theirs. i was blown away when i heard that song on mothers milk. now all those kiddies hear that lame "be my butterfly" song and they cream there pants. if only they knew of the original.

also, flea started out as a trumpet player...i don't know how many people knew that.

Cool I didn't know that. But I have heard him play it, it was on the Slane Castle DVD, when he has a short jam with Chad Smith. Pretty awesome.

yeah i think it was on the vh1 behind the music on them. his father was a big jazz musician back in the day, so thats how he got into music as well

I saw Foo Fighters open up for RHCP a few years back. Foo blew them off the stage. It was rediculous. People starting leaving. Keidis was so off key. John Frushootme was all over the place in a bad way. Love their albums though!

Im bored... here are some lyrics from one of my favorite RHCP songs...

    Don't Forget Me

I'm an ocean in your bedroom
    make you feel warm
    make you want to re-assure
now we know it all for sure

    I'm a dancehall dirty breakbeat
    make the snow fall
    up from underneath your feet
    not alone, I'll be there
tell me when you want to go

I'm a meth lab first rehab
    take it all off
and step inside the running cab
there's a love that knows the way

I'm the rainbow in your jail cell
    all the memories of
    everything you've ever smelled
    not alone, I'll be there
tell me when you want to go

    sideways falling
more will be revealed my friend
    don't forget me I can't hide it
    come again get reignited

I'm an inbred and a pothead
    two legs that you spread
    inside the tool shed
now we know it all for sure

    I could show you
    to the free field
    overcome and more
    will always be revealed
    not alone, I'll be there
tell me when you want to go

    sideways falling
more will be revealed my friend
    don't forget me I can't hide it
    come again get reignited

    I'm the bloodstain
    on your shirt sleeve
coming down and more are coming to believe
now we know it all for sure

    make the hair stand
    upon your arm
    teach you how to dance
    inside the funny farm
    not alone, I'll be there
tell me when you want to go

I love listening to the Live In Hyde Park version, it's just so intense
